Purchased my first Grohe Product based in my contractors recommendation in 2018. Since then I've had to replace the head twice due to the sprayer mechanism malfunctioning. The last replacement was in May 2020 and it’s not working again. Lasted only 5 months this time. Customer support is great, but I need a quality product that's dependable.

I just got off the phone w their customer support line w Megan. She couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant. Things can break / wear out and in fact that's what I was calling about. Grohe's commitment to customer support / warranty is first rate.

When we built our house 10 years ago, we used Grohe products throughout our house including the Ladylux cafe faucet for both of our kitchens. We were extremely pleased with the faucets; its design, great quality, ease of use, and its functionality. Unfortunately, recently a permanent piece of its connection failed and flooded our kitchen. Since we were so happy with our previous faucet, we went ahead and bought a Ladylux L2 kitchen faucet. Since I am not a handyman, we hired a professional master plumber to install it for us. It has been a couple of months since it was installed. I wanted to wait and get fully acclaimed with the faucet before writing an objective review. It is an excellent product, but wish I knew about a couple of issues before we purchased it. Whether it is a flaw or intentional, we are uncertain about the practicality of the pulldown unit when it swings to the left to be used in the left sink. The pulldown head becomes loose from its base. Swing it back to the right and it clicks back to its base. The plumber spent lots of time thinking it was the installation but it seems it is part of the faucet's function. Other things we noticed, is that the faucet is taller than previous series causing water to be splashed around the counter when dishes are washed. Also, its handle is a bit longer than the previous series and encroaches into the sink space. If you have a light directly above the sink, the chrome option may not be the best option, because the faucet retain/reflects the light so much that makes the faucet look as if it is scratched all over its hand lever. Overall, this faucet does not provide the comfort and ease of use that the previous series provided. However, it is still a great product, and I would recommend it, however, before selecting this particular faucet, read the review of other Grohe faucet before deciding on your final choice.

The faucet looks fancy. Works good enough. Cons: The spray is not very strong. Cold or hot water does not add to spray strength.

It looks nice and solid. Installation was super easy even though the directions are abysmal. We skipped those and went straight to YouTube. Following those instructions (https://youtu.be/_zVCIlwoqz8) we had it up and running in under 30 minutes.

We selected this faucet because it was beautiful, fit the space we had available, and performed the functions we wanted. However, shortly after the faucet was installed, we started losing water pressure, which eventually dropped to the point where the spray nozzle no longer operated. Five years after purchase, when we asked a plumber to repair the situation, the cylinder was no longer available and we needed to replace the entire, very expensive, unit.

The installation directions need to be clearer. Adding a simple word or two to the illustrations would help immensely.

When your faucet breaks in the middle of the night, and your wife is working the next day, you can make no better choice than a Grohe Ladylux faucet. Beautiful, sleek, feature rich and easy to install. I love my Grohe!

The faucet arrived quickly and looked exactly as stated on line. We had a plumber install it. He was impressed by how solid the unit was. It works great and we have been enjoying it for almost a week. The only small issue was trying to figure out how to use the aerator removal tool that comes with it. Had to send a note to customer service and got the answer.

I purchased this faucet to replace an older Ladylux in chrome finish. The finish on this model is a beautiful complement to the stainless steel sinks and other stainless steel items in the kitchen. The faucet operates smoothly, is quiet, has quality construction (it is heavy!) and the spray features are fantastic. Installation is easy and doesn't require any special tools, but the instructions are a bit unclear as it is somewhat difficult to discern washer sizes for the connection below the counter. If you get them out of order, the ratcheting mechanism won't tighten. Once you get this figured out, the installation is very secure. I also bought the matching "bar sink faucet" in this line for another sink in my kitchen.

Great faucet and the installation would have gone more smoothly and less time consuming if they had sent written instructions with an exploded parts manual instead of the manual enclosed with no written explanation

We built a new home and normally love Grohe products. This faucet has design flaws. The arc is to shallow and causes splashing all over counter. We tried washing lower in sink but to no change. Measurements on installation were followed. The arc should be extended to aim further into sink.

Come with deck plate so you can install them on single or 3 holes faucet. Magnetic dock on head sprayer is easy to use. Love the addition of Pause button on the head. Instead of turning on and off at the faucet. Good construction.

Having the handle on the side versus the top is a great feature to help when turning on the faucet with messy hands. The high arch design is great when filling and washing large pots. Great sleek design makes it easy to just wipe clean. Love the large button to switch to the spray feature.
