I bought one and it ran in freezer mode for about 7 months and then the evaporator fan went out so it was not properly cooling it. I had $400 of meat in it and so I had to run out that night and find a substitute for it so I wouldn’t loose all my meet. I contacted customer support and they were a little difficult but they ended up sending me a whole new unit instead of the $25 fan that went out. The second one had been running for 5 months and the fan is slowly dying on that one as well…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer has been working great, however it took a lot of work to get it functioning. I followed the directions to reverse the direction that the door opens and the mounting holes were in the wrong place. I had to do some grinding to allow full access to the holes that were partially covered by what appears to be a manufacturing defect. To get the door to close the bracket had to move farther than the homes would allow, so I had to enlarge the holes on the bracket in order for the door to close properly. If I didn't have a need for the door to be reversed it would have been a 5 star product.

You can switch between a freezer or a refrigerator with just the touch of a button. We use it in our garage to hold our excess frozen food and blood plasma products for our hemophiliac dog. It has an electronic temperature control that lets you always know the temperature and allows you to change it to suit your needs. This is a lifesaver for us since it is no longer effective if my dog’s blood plasma thaws. We trust this freezer more than the one in our kitchen, so we store our dog’s blood products in it. One of the neat functions is that it is frost free. Frost will not form on your food or in the freezer. This is the product for you if you want a great quality, trustworthy freezer/refrigerator. I highly recommend this product.

At Thanksgiving I desperately need additional refrigerator space for a fresh turkey, beverages, and food prepared in advance for the big day. Afterwards, We have all these wonderful leftovers. I set the temperature to 39 degrees and have Plenty of room for everything. At other times of the year I need additional freezer space. I no longer have to pass up good sales on food due to a lack of freezer space. With a simple adjustment of the digital control I can switch from fridge to freezer.

This convertible fridge/freezer is energy efficient, reliable and has great organization shelves. I love being able to see everything up right and well lit, a great advantage over bending into a deep freeze to get someone thing at the bottom. Everything is easily accessible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the fridge, it was a super easy install thanks to the wheels underneath, it’s a great size that can fit just about anywhere in the home thanks to its narrow size, but it makes up for that with its height. It does a great job at keeping the temperature precise at 45 degrees which is super important. Overall I would rate it a 5 out of 5, there is nothing bad to say about this fridge and we can’t wait to get many more uses out of it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I could honestly say this has replaced my 2 old freezers, I love that it's tall and compact. The Galanz Convertible appliance is heavy but it has wheels for easy maneuver, i also easily leveled it in my garage by just adjusting the bottom level. I have decided to use the Convertible appliance as a freezer mainly because we prefer buying meat in bulk, and it's perfect! The freezer holds a lot more than what i had anticipated, it also allows you to adjust the level trays for your convenience. The seal is very strong, i have had no issues with the freezer icing up or burning my food. You can hear when the compressor kicks on if you're close, but we keep it in the garage so it's no issue. I made sure to wait 24 hours upon arrival to plug it in, the set up was so easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this fridge/freezer. It is tall and narrow and easily converts from a refrigerator to a deep freezer. My current kitchen is tiny, it was clearly not made for someone who actually cooks. While it came with appliances, the space doesn't allow much cold storage, certainly not enough if you actually cook. This is the perfect size for a secondary cold storage. I was able to fit it into a small space in my garage that doesn't intrude on other storage or parking space. it actually holds a lot. Right now I am using it for freezer space and I love that it is upright and not a chest-- so much easier to dig through. It seems sturdy and it was easy for me to move into the space I wanted it. Easy to clean and has a great high end look.

I am excited to replace my existing garage fridge to this amazing freezer. I swear this is a must have if you're looking for a stand up freezer that fits a lot and is also compact.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with my new Galanz convertible refrigerator/freezer. Pictures don’t do justice for how nice it looks in person. It’s a very sleek style that looks high quality. The shelves are thin but strong and can be moved effortlessly. I currently have only used this as a refrigerator. Its quiet and works great. I love that I do have the option to turn this to a freezer because my needs will switch up from time to time if I’m needing more things to be frozen or just refrigerated. With this being 11 cu I was actually really surprised at the amount of room this has on the inside. I am very impressed with Galanz and would absolutely recommend.

Great freezer but the only problem i am having is the handle did not come with the screws .costumer service suck over there.

The Galanz convertible freezer/fridge combo is an amazing product! I really love the exterior finish in the stainless steel shelves and the interior has glass shelves which I really love as well. The glass shelves are adjustable so they can go higher or lower and the bottom of the unit has a drawer. What I also love about this is the digital thermometer on the inside of the freezer fridge, and it lets me know at all times what the temperature is. There are convenient shelves on the door as well. The size is perfect!

Do not buy this garbage. Purchased and just after a year a loud noise started coming. Everything was thawed out. The fan broke. I contacted Galanz and placed an order to order a new fan. They said they placed an order. I kept on calling and they would say it’s on back order and not to worry about it. This was January 2023. After several months I called back and a new customer personal answer and said there was no file for our order. They made a new order and again we had to wait for the fan to be shipped from China. It’s been 10 months and we finally received the fan. It was $55.00 US dollars plus $14.00 customs. We made a call for someone to install the new fan and it will cost another $225.00 to get it installed. Also the fan running this freezer is plastic made so I’m expecting it will break down again. Stay away from any Galanz products. Only buy good quality brand appliances.

We have now had two of these freezers within a two week time span. The first one had a hole in the copper tubing and leaked Freon. Sent it back ordered another. Got it plugged it in light comes on but the panel does not. I called galanz customer service she says I have to call who I purchased it from. I got the complete run around for almost two hours before calling back to galanz and she said they couldn’t help. I finally called Home Depot back to just return it. Won’t get another one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a big family! It's important that no matter what our food stays safe and healthy. This amazing ice-box can be either. I have it set up as a freezer since that is what my family needs... but it can be switched into a mode that will keep the refrigerator working as such. It just cannot be both. I've also not seen any frost on anything yet. This freezer lets you choose which way your door opens. It has 4 clear bins on the door, 4 clear glass shelves, nice lighting, electronic temp control, and a quick cooling option.

The stainless steel finish is beautiful and the interior has glass shelves that are adjustable. Its very spacy inside. The only problem is that it is a little noisy. But it works. My foid has stayed frozen as I'm using it for a freezer. I like that you can see the temperature. Thats a bonus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our household needed some additional freezer space since the drawer freezer in our main french door fridge is too small. We don't have a huge garage so we needed a smaller profile freezer and this upright version is perfect for our needs. We can still pull our cars into the garage while also being able to access the freezer. It has a small footprint and works great in smaller spaces. It keeps all the spare food and desserts readily available and we don't have to plan our frozen good purchases as carefully as before. Win Win!

Freezer has great space.

Ordered this freezer on July 7, woke up on August 25 to a loud noise coming from the freezer and when I opened the door everything thing was thawed . Home Depot was very helpful when I called customer service, they suggested I contact our local store and they came out and picked it up. We lost hundreds of dollars worth of food, so do not purchase this freezer, because this could happen to you.

On the specifications section, in details, defrost type it’s written Manuel. So I just want to confirm if it’s Manuel defrost or it’s a frost-free freezer.

Took a little longer to get it but it’s great works well happy with it

Wish it was wider but I have limited space!

Working very well, I love it now I can but finger foods and also cook large portions to freeze.

The seal on the freezer doesn't work.lets sir in, can't keep constant temp. And frost free is joke because of the outside air getting in.
