This particular switch was hard to throw. I took it back and got a replacement. All is good now

Good value, severs the purpose

The switch operates as it should, although it is very very stiff. The switch did not come with an indicator plate, as do most other switches. If you are in a bind and need a switch quickly, order up one of these and it will do the job.

No instructions and a bad picture that doesn’t tell you any useful info. Don’t by unless you want to spend time with a multimeter.

The switch is *extremely* stiff to move the toggle from one pole to the other.

This is a good product; but the pull on the switch from forward to reverse is hard. The setup and positioning of the hardware is very good.

Worked perfectly for my application.

Installed it and went to activate my plow the next day and the thing broke in half. Will never buy that product again.

+Low cost -Heavy force needed to operate the switch (this is a good thing if you want to prevent accidental switching). Maybe get something nicer if you need a switch to operate a lot.

absolutely perfect for what I had to do.

These switches work but are VARY hard to operate as in a LOT of force is needed to move the lever back and forth. I have bought them when I had projects and needed a switch. Then ordered better switches and replaced these. It is so bad it seems the switch is going to break every time I operate it. Buy one, like me, you will end up replacing it. NOT RECOMMENDED unless you are in a "I NEED THIS NOW" situation.

I have not used it yet... though i was happy to get a DPDT switch, I mean with radio shack going under you can't buy stuff like this anywhere these days.

I used it for testing purposes & it was safe to use.

Instructions don’t exist. Wiring diagram on package is useless and doesn’t correspond with terminals on switch. According to the associate in electrical department the terminals don’t align as common sense would advise. I would recommend to find another brand.

Worked perfectly in automotive (12 volt) application. I use it to run a cutoff switch to the bmw xdrive system to make it rear drive in emergency situation where a certain sensor fail(ie wheel speed sensor) and xdrive forces a max 4wd setting even in dry pavement. The switch was available locally worked as intended. The switch lever has 3 positions where the center is off for both. Wires must be terminated because the switch's terminals seem too close especially with the fat screws. I was able to tighten the screws without losing threads. Robust materials not cheap plastic.

The toggle did what it was intended to do without any problems. It seems to be sturdy and dependable. I would buy it again.
