The on/off rocker switch in my Hoover UH71250 failed yesterday. Today I purchased this Gardner Bender switch hoping it would fit and it did. It's not an exact replacement but with some patience, I was able to thread the nut by turning the switch and holding the nut inside the switch housing. It worked out better than I hoped. I didn't wire the light because I don't need the light. Glad I was able to get this switch at my local Home Depot and not have to pay for shipping and wait.

Exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for a switch to control a 120V fan motor that I use to run a set of buffing wheels. Originally I though I would just use a standard wall switch but then found this one at Home Depot while browsing through the switch section. I mounted this in a plastic box with matching cover. The nice thing about this set up is the diameter of the switch matches the knock-out in the box cover, so no drilling was involved. Had this installed and wired up in minutes.

Perfect. I added this to a disk to dawn light fixture so now I can have it off when I need to. Perfect solution.

The led on the switch never worked

The switch works but the light does not. I purchased 2 of these today and the light didn't work on either of them I checked the old switch ( That stopped working but the light worked) to see if it was a grounding issue. It was not. I ran a continuity test on the grounding wire/connector and found the ground was 100% functional.

Got a lifted power wheels half off because it was not functioning, this switch was a direct replacement for the main switch that went out.

Great little switch. I have 2, 1 to shut of my bird bath pump for cleaning and 1 to turn off my low voltage lights.

I purchased 2 of these switches and the wiring diagram on the back of the insert is not correct. The order needs to be reversed. 3 2 1 needs to be wired as 1 2 3. Alternatively you could switch the ON and OFF nomenclature. Otherwise worked perfectly for my application. If you plan to solder your connections, do it fast! The plastic is very heat sensitive.

Easy to use and install. The washer has locking teeth to help hold it in place.

Perfect replacement part

I think the product is fine but was the wrong switch. I will be returning it.

Wanted to replace the broken pull-chain switch on a light, and this was perfect. It installed easily, was easy to connect the wires, and the switch action is responsive and was what I wanted. The small LED is helpful, if you connect the correct power wire to the post.

Switch worked but not the light. I'm using anyway.

Installed on a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard as an on/off switch for after market speakers. Easy to install. Final result looks factory installed. Switch is sturdy, does not feel loose when used. Would recommend.
