For our fireplace insert we had originally planned to cut straight pieces to fit around the front of the fireplace, but realized the cut edge was not a great look in a very prominent location. These return or flat corner pieces with a finished edge were the perfect solution. Since there was not an actual lip we had to cut the back to be flat, sitting flush against the drywall. This gives the fireplace a slightly recessed look while having the appearance of being inset in stone on both sides. We had not found any detailed instructions for using Genstone around a fireplace, and this was one of the details I was most nervous about looking right. These left and right corner pieces gave a fantastic appearance and were the perfect way to give the fireplace a great realistic finishing touch.

Very easy to install. Took only 1 day to complete.

We used Genstone in our 3 season porch as a wainscoting. It was super easy to cut and install. We were worried about going around the electrical outlets but it was no problem. I chose to paint the exposed edges a dark gray and it looks great. So pleased with the outcome. Enlarge the photo to see the Genstone under the window.

We used the product on accent wall and utility room wall accent ... which have been getting compliments every time we show the house ... only did a small project but will for sure use on other projects as we found it saves so much time on installation costs !!! So glad we used genstone !!

Great product, lightweight, easy install looks like stone, they have all necessary accessory peices, I was even able to make extra trim peices out of the pannels.

Great product. Looks a Amazing. Bought this product to dress up our gas fireplace area. I took my time over a couple days and completed. I installed without any additional help. Easy to cut, work with. Lines blended well and screws were easy to hide. Customer service was fantastic with my questions before and when I had to order a few more pieces.

We bought our home with a bar area in the basement family room but were never satisfied with its very dated appearance. Our vision of a stone wall on the bar front and sides of the back bar was firmly envisioned in our minds and we knew we would need to do the work ourselves with no experience. GenStone stacked wall panels were the ideal solution to our design, our representative worked with us throughout the whole project and financing option to ensure everything went as planned. We wanted a jaw dropping transformation so our family and guests could relax in a unique environment while visiting our home. I also wanted to be sure that any future owner would say "SOLD" as soon as they walked into this area. Our bar is a work in progress and not complete but here are a few pictures of the current progress

Thrilled with this product. What a change in my family room and kitchen. Warmed and transformed the rooms. Very lightweight and easy to cut and install. My husband used a kitchen knife to make his cuts even though he has a collection of all kind of knives. I included before and after pictures. We used desert sunrise. The product color is a bit different than the website so I highly recommend getting samples first. Its hard to look at the sample and envision the completed look but trust me its gorgeous and sooo real looking. Friends dont believe its not stone. It has been 6 months since we completed the project and I just love it every day walking into the room. My one and only complaint was the time it took to get both the samples and the product. Of course covid did impact the shipping time. Unfortunately when our product was delivered, we ended up getting someone elses order and they got our order. So it was another long delay before we got our order. Genstone went up and beyond to make things right! I want to give a shout out to Jamie, Tim and Brianna who were a tremendous help in our journey. Their employees are extremely helpful and a wealth of information. Do not hesitate purchasing this product. Its simply gorgeous!!

Incredible is the word that came to mind when my wife and I completed our family room. When we contacted GenStone to inquire about the Stacked Stone, they were so into helping us understand how it works. My wife and I are so happy with there service because it made us feel comfortable when we purchased and installed it ourselves.

I discovered this product online searching for a solution to my master bath remodeling Project. I needed a panel for my whirlpool bath. GenStone was easy to cut and has a authentic real look of stone that enhances the whirlpool to a luxury spa!. Even offered are stone corner panels to wrap porch columns! My front porch has columns so I’m soon to buying GenStone again!

I purchased The Northern Slate Sample. It Looks very different from what the website shows. No Color contrast, no lights or darks just a overall blue grey. Reminds me of a wall you would fimd in a haunted house. I will not devalue my home with this.

We bought this product to provide color and texture to a very dark room - it looks great! Installation in our 1920s home was a breeze. We installed directly over Durock panels, it was easy to cut, easy to attach. I highly recommend, as it works great and is very durable.

I have wanted to update the front of our home for several years with a stone facade. I found Gen Stone products online and ordered a sample. I was very pleased with the product and how realistic it looks and feels to real stone. I researched installation videos for the do-it-yourself person on the Gen Stone web site and found the product very easy to work with. After planning my project and obtaining all the materials I would need, I was able to complete my entire project in about 2 days. I am very pleased with how this product has updated and made our home more attractive.

Beautiful product! Comes together easily, and with the colour matched caulking, you can easily hide your Install screws! Backend service is also phenomenal! I’d recommend to anyone!

We applied the panels around 6 inch posts. We had to frame it out to fit 8 inches but was fairly simple with wood strips. Very happy with the way this turned out. Using real stone was not an option since the patio does not have footings and the weight would have been to much. This product was perfect and the customer service was excellent!!! Thank you Travis for stepping up when we needed you!

We just finished our front entry deck incorporating GenStone Desert Sunrise and the trim. We are very pleased with the outcome and are getting many compliments. The panels and trim are so easy to use and we may expand to more areas of the house.

Ordered direct from GenStone, sales person, Ashley Rudolph, was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Order arrived as promised. The product was as described and fairly easy to install.

Military friendly customer service is extremely willing to go the extra mile for you. I don’t want to talk about how easy it is to install because installation is very easy. The product truly has the appearance of real stone. I came up short on my order so like so many before me “measure twice cut once”. I have a corner fireplace that I did so ends needed to be cut on a 45. Their dimension are spot on with what they say on the website as well. I had a general contractor working with me on something else in my house and he too was amazed at the product. I will use again. Would like to use for outside next project.

We absolutely love our stone from Genstone. Cutting it was a piece of cake with a hand saw, install was easy with construction adhesive and a few screws. Overall it came out excellent.

Our old deck was not installed properly, leading to water damage in the wall behind it. Our contractor had to tear off a couple courses of siding to repair the wall, and lowered the level of the deck to prevent future damage. But how to cover the repair? New siding wouldn't match. After some searching we hit on Genstone. (We also found some competing products but they didn't look nearly as nice.) One row of 42"x12" panels plus ledger pieces provided a finished look that we are very please with.

I purchased the product on a Monday, and had it on a Thursday! Looks real! Easy install. Our ledgers added a nice custom look.

I was looking for a product I could use to resurface my chimney. After looking into cultured stone and other lightweight stone manufactures, I decided to go with GenStone. Mostly because they had corner pieces in addition to the side panels and given I was surfacing a chimney, there would be as much corner work as anything else. It took two days to complete the project (lots of custom cuts) but the end result looked even better than I was expecting. Cutting the material is incredibly easy. All you need is a hand saw and maybe a keyhole saw for certain smaller cuts. No power tools required.

We just installed this genstone Kenai outside and it has been a dream to install. I doubted the complexity and skill needed but it truly was so easy. And the best part is it looks REALLY good and authentic. I am thoroughly impressed and would buy again and tell any friends about this product. Nice work Genstone. Also it was half the price of quoted work for real stone. If you are on the fence, just do it. You will not regret your choice.

When I started my basement remodel I had a vision for the ugly metal pole but couldn't find what I wanted. After much research and reading a ton of reviews I decided on Genstone. The realistic look is by far the best I've seen. Couldn't be happier. The pictures speak for themselves.

We purchased this stacked stone product to replace the siding that clad our chimney. Our fireplace is prefabricated and the roof decking around the chimney could not support the weight of a natural stone. The Genstone product was perfect because it was lightweight. The project came out beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the result.

We decided to add GenStone columns and GenStone panels to our back deck, so happy we did. It took a regular deck and turned it into something you would see in a magazine. We are extremely pleased with GenStone. We are considering other DIY home projects using GenStone.
