It would have been better if I could have purchased it in the store, but I realize that everything can not be stocked in each store. The saw was worth the cost and wait. It works as it should. I have only used it several times and have found no draw backs.

Supposedly it is lighter than the regular ones, but in truth it is almost the same, apart from the leaf being different from the regular ones, its price is higher

The saw was an excellent pick. I had a Rockwell and this is much easier to use.

Great little tool. I'am not much of a handyman but I build a new gate and cut up the old one with this saw and it was easy. I had a little trouble mounting the blade the first time but I told you that I was not handy. I tried to watch a YouTube video to do it but that did not help too much. I guess it is too easy of a job to waste valuable video time on it (ha ha).

I just received the saw on time and the package doesn't look perfect (not important) but the saw look 100% new. The last item in product overview stated "Includes 24T carbide-tipped blade, rip guide, vacuum adapter and blade wrench". If this is correct so I did not received the 24T carbide-tipped blade. Please justify and waiting your kind reply. I tested the saw with other DEWALT ATOMIC 4-1/2 in. 24-Tooth Circular Saw Blade and Diablo 4-3/8 in. x 36-Teeth Trim Saw Blade and it was perfect.

The saw was everything I hoped for. As always I was not disappointed. Good product at a great price, arrived in 3 days.We will be purchasing again.Thanks Jim M

I love it. The handle is a little large for my hand, but I think with practice I will overcome the bulky feel. It's a great product.

The saw is good but I added a second left hand handle to assist the alignment. That made the saw work perfectly. Without, it not so good. The second handle gave me a grip with my left hand. I used the sawdust exhaust to mount the home made handle.

Precise and easy to handle

I really like this saw. Has made it possible for me to do some exterior repair work, certain cuts that would have been difficult with a large power saw or a hand saw. It does much of what a large power saw can do, but is much easier to handle, so I expect to use this saw, except for jobs that require deep cuts. I would recommend this for most people doing DIY work, unless it's a large job with thick cuts.

the engine broke the fist day

I have used this a lot here lately. Lighter and less bulky than a standard circular saw. I would recommend this to anyone. I just wish they had the blades in store rather than having to order online.

A work horse for the price. Good Torque output for most of the wood I"ve used it on. But it......

Balance is bad, weight is mostly behind the grip instead of at the saw head. Also it is difficult to reach the safety switch while you're holding the saw. Somebody needs to pay more attention to ergonomics. I'm sure there are specific tasks that this would be good for but I was looking for a lightweight general purpose saw because I'm a little old lady now. I wanted something easier to handle. Sadly if you want a mini saw, the good ones cost as much as full size circular saws. Might as well just get a lightweight full size saw instead, especially given how poorly this one is balanced. Another poster mentioned that there aren't many saw blades available in a 4.5" blade, which is true. There are none in the stores where I live and I could only find 4 available to order online from Home Depot. Other reviewers have stated they use this saw for cutting hardiebacker board, but there is no blade available from HD that is capable of doing that. The 3 things I wanted to use this for were cutting hardiebacker board, plywood, and lumber up to 2x. This saw is poorly designed for any of those uses and is awkward and difficult to handle because of the poor balance. So I returned the saw and just got a lightweight full size saw instead. Between the awkward handling (unless you're Magilla Gorilla) and the difficulty hunting down blades for the thing, you're better off sticking with a full size saw for general purpose use.

very easy to use

Very handy easy to carry and to use for small projects

It has worked great , I do a lot of handyman type work in a very condo development and it has done everything I had hoped it would ! I would highly recommend it !
