Very qiet and works as expected

I highly recommend this garage door opener. The price is less than other models and it has plenty of power for a double metal garage door. It comes with everything you need in one box unless you need the extension bar. I did not need it. It is very quiet and love the app and lockout option. I went with genie because that is what I have always had in the past and I am not disappointed.

It was relatively easy to install. It's quiet and works as expected.

1. This opener (once you get it running) is indeed quiet. That's one redeeming quality. 2. Packaging is decent. Redeeming quality #2. 3. Instructions are vague, and contradictory to what's been posted online by the Genie company (especially re: wiring). 4. Track is multi-piece, with ZERO bolts holding it together. 5. Wiring provided is cheap. Had to replace all sensor wiring with something else because of circuit faults out of the box! 6. I regret this purchase.

Upgraded from previous model - this version is much better - good connectivity, use of the WiFi function is a big improvement - no more guessing whether or not I closed the garage door! Had the unit installed by a HD professional - excellent service and fast!!

Programming buttons didnt touch the board so we had to take the cover off to program it. No support after 5 so we just made it work Got it installed only to have a part fall off the circuit board and disable the whole unit 2 days later. 3 calls to support with 2 hour hold times. Finally got someone "blue board certified level 3" to replace the unit . Installed it to discover the wrong unit was sent and would not program the up and down limits nor any opener. Called Genie today and i am looking at 1 to 3 days for a call back from someone who can replace the wrong unit. I expected more and got less. Sadly, the reviews were what drew me to this. I have had to pay someone to do this install 2 times now ans facing a 3rd

Easy install, quite, like the app and its options. The light lens was defetive, calles genie and the sent a new one within a week. I happy with the choice.

I had a Genie screw drive opener that had seen its better days, and I wanted a unit that was (1) quieter and (2) had the internal connectivity (versus the connected door accessory that I had on the other opener) to replace it. This is absolutely it. So quiet that I can't hear the door opening from my study directly adjacent to the garage. Installation for the unit was pretty straightforward, so not a lot to say there. The opener came to life when I plugged it in, and I went through the calibration procedure per the instructions. Very simple. After calibration, the battery is installed, which provides the ability to open and/or close the door with the power out. My first opener with a battery, and honestly it's one of those nice features that I hope I never need. Next was getting the opener onto my existing Aladdin Connect app account, which was also easy to do. That's it. If you're looking for a quiet, and I mean QUIET, opener, you won't go wrong with this model. The features work great, and I suspect this is the last garage door opener I'll need for quite some time.

Easy install and quiet

Was easy to install. Very quite and smooth operating. Battery backup I used once and it was slow but that’s to be expected lifting a 16’ door. So far so good.

This is a really great garage door opener! The app is super easy to use and I always know and can get access to my garage with or without my remote. In addition, the light it has is so great to see in my garage without having any additional lighting. It also is very smooth and quiet. I highly recommend this garage door opener!

Genie Signature series silentmax Led connect quiet belt stopped working in less than a year. Unfortunately eventhough I paid thru homedepot to have it installed, I had to work thru this issue directly with Genie. They want me to uninstall and ship it back after several trouble shoot calls.

This opener is great and i like all the features it has. The only issue i have is that the signal range is not as far as my old genie model and some times the door does not open on the first press. I have only had the opener for less than a month. Still observing how it functions.
