Been a couple of weeks since the install, and so far, so good. Included remotes work well, as does the keypad. There is an app that you can use to hook up the opener to your wifi, and control the door from the app. Cool thing is that it works well, and gives you notices on your phone and Apple Watch whenever the door is activated. Really happy with this particular model so far.

Can’t get the power unit into program mode, outside keypad won’t work, no instructions for installing the battery pack and Genie customer service by phone is essentially nonexistent. Waited on hold for hours and no one every picks up.

Ordered 2 units w/install included. Waited a week for installer to call. THD referred me to Genie installers. Another week of numerous calls, gave up and scheduled my own installer. Not good for THD to sell install services that don’t follow up.

I paid for installation with Home Depot. The door was installed. Within one month I started having problems with the remote not working. I had to reset on the opener. This started happening everyday. I’ve called Genie and had to argue to have someone come and install a new board on the unit. What a lemon this is

Very quiet. I give 5 even though there is no motion function on the saftey eye to turn on the overhead light. This is standard on every opener I have ever purchased.

This garage door opener is really quiet. If you are a do it yourself we, it is fairly easy if you are replacing an existing opener. The rail was shorter than my previous opener so that took a little while to get it positioned correctly. But overall, this opener is quiet, the belt drive is smooth.

So far so good. A nice set of everything you need (except extension kit) Very quiet. It may not be the best price, but it is a deal if you consider you can order Home Depot installation for this product. The home depot installation service (by 3rd party installer) is a real deal. You will not find anyone who install the garage door opener at that price.

SO worth it!! Lights up my single car garage really well!! Super quiet! Great to have key ring size opener buttons which also can be clipped to car visor. Truly a relief to know there's now battery back up to open the garage door the next time our power is off for three days.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, it was pretty easy to install and is so quiet compared to our old one from the 90s! Also the light is so much brighter. My husband was very excited about the battery backup and the security of this one. Definitely recommend!

I can not hear the door raise or lower inside the house. I like it. We had it pofessionally installed. I recommend it.

Great product, terrible installation handling by Home Depot and the third party. Promise a call within 3 days waited weeks and we the customer had to follow up.

Love it so far. Super quiet and the led lights are very bright. Replaced an original genie that didn't have a keypad so the wireless keypad was a bonus. Phone app is an extra feature, nice to monitor open and closed door. Definitely recommend.

The Genie SilentMax LED garage door opener is super quiet and very easy to install. The only problem I've had with it is not being able to connect to my home network ... or more precisely, I cannot connect to the opener through the app to get it set up on my home network. Haven't spent a lot of time troubleshooting it and I am an IT professional so network setup costs it one star. Aside from that the Genie is a dream. As in, I dream of Genie. :-)
