Bought it in June and by August it no longer worked.

I am thinking it's doing its job. I honestly cant tell the difference. I must say that it is not loud, quite like a fan.

I bought it because I thought it would help to cut down on the illegal cigarette smoke that floats into my apartment. It really doesn’t help at all. Also, it makes a squealing noise on the “high” setting so I can not run it on high.

Effective air purifier. However, a little more noise than expected. Still, was a worthwhile purchase.

I was having issues with my allergies and have been sleeping so much better now that I have this air purifier!!!

This tower has done an amazing job in the room that I place them. I have 3 small dogs and you can tell that they are inside dogs. I would recommend to my friends.

Made a huge difference as my family suffers with allergies...bought 3 more.

It's quiet on the lower 2 settings and seems to keep the bedroom clean and odor free.

Good for the price. Order came quickly. We move it around the house. Glad to have it with the fires burning so close to home.

It is reasonable noise level and actually working well but works only by timer or you have to manually turn on/of by app. It is no possible to put on schedule and keep schedule automated.

These units REALLY work! Recently I found out that I was allergic to my collies. I purchased 4 air purifiers, two of them are this unit. After putting them in place only after a few days... I COULD REALLY TELL A DIFFERENCE! I could finally breathe. I HIGHLY recommend this unit.

The HEPA filter does seem to work. The problems are 1) the automatic control system is supposed to count the particles and automatically increase the speed of the fan when necessary. I don't think the count is accurate as I never get a count of more than 3 so I have to treat it as a manual system, changing the speed as I feel necessary. 2) the Google Home interface is the worst interface of any of my devices. With all my other devices, I just say "Hey Google, turn on my xxxx", With GermGardian, you have to add "Ask Guardian to", which I know is normal for Alexa but with Google it should be unnecessary. It seems the programmers for this device were lazy. So as a manual system, it's fine but it's automation is not done well.

Stopped working within one year of purchase

There are a few draw back to this filter. First, after about 2 weeks of use it starts rumbling when you turn it on. It only lasts a few minutes but you can be sure a bearing is failing someplace. The second is that the rear filter housing has rows of holes that allow air into the filter. These holes eliminate about 50% of the filters capacity. The holes clog up and then the filter needs to be cleaned. Had they just placed a few struts across the back to hold the filter in place it would be much more efficient.
