I recently painted the cabinets in my kitchen white and wanted a set of dishes that would add a splash of color. I ordered two sets. Contrary to other reviews, not one of the pieces broke, and they travelled clear across the country. Now that splash of color I wanted, these dishes pop in my now white kitchen. Initially I was afraid that I would end up breaking a dish as they didn’t seem as durable as my last set. However, we’ve been going 3 months strong now, and no breakage.

Look perfect in my kitchen. Since my husband collects hand thrown mugs, were happy for the extra small bowls instead of more mugs.

My wife and eye are careful with our dishes. These chip very easily. Cannot recommend.

Love the plates and saucers, but the bowls are really small. The picture is a little deceiving. Wish I could buy the plates separately.

We got this for a wedding gift and they loved it ! Excellent price and service.

Bright, colorful and feels like quality pottery. Hope it will last a few years without chipping! Note, coffee mugs are not provided but little small dessert bowls instead. They are a nice addition to the set but wish it also had the mugs too! I found some plain black mugs that seemed to match.

Beautiful dishes. They are sturdy and definitely good for the microwave and dish washer. I wish they had pasta bowls, small dessert plates, mugs, and serving dishes. I’d buy the lot.

Purchased a set from another site for a few $$ more and waited to order the second set until the first arrived. The blue was different than expected. Remember this you are ordering dishes at an average costs of $4.25 a piece. If you want designer dishes I bought a set for a couple's wedding and it cost me $68 for 5 pieces = ave per piece $13.6 Estimated cost to get 8 settings $544. Estimate costs to get 8 settings of the Gibson Cafe Versailles Blue 16-Piece Dinnerware Set $118. Food for thought.

The Cafe Versailles Blue 16-Piece Dinnerware Set on line looked great so we ordered 2 sets. They arrived in great condition with lots of bubble wrap to protect the contents, no broken pieces. My wife and I unpacked one carton and was disappointed in the overall quality. The biggest complaint is that none of the dinner plates are flat, they all rock on a flat surface. Another complaint is that the seating surface on the bottom of all the dishes is extremely ruff. This would scuff the surface of the lower dish when stacking, not to mention scratching the table top when using. The glazing on the tops are not good as well with pits in the surface and no glazing at all in the gaps between rings and in the dots. These would stain dramatically with certain foods. Needless to say they are going back to Home Depot. I am surprised that anyone would actually give these an acceptable review.

I love the bold colors in this set! We just moved to a new house, and all our dinner guests have commented on how unique and bold the color pattern is. I noticed that this particular set of dishes came with a small and large set of bowls, vs the coffee cups. I prefer this combination much better. I am very pleased with these dishes!

I received these about 3 weeks ago and they are beautiful! They appear to be very well made are they can be put in the dishwasher and in the oven.

I simply love them ,I've been trying to find a set with both size bowls instead of coffee cups and you had them thank you home depot for making my day
