DUE TO ILLNESS, I HAVE NOT HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO USE IT. I BUILT A CEDAR CLOSET IN MY BASEMENT MANY YEARS AGO. I HOPE TO USE THE CEDAR OIL IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THANK YOU.

The Cedar Oil was a needed purchase to apply to the 2 elevated cedar garden beds. I need to apply 2 coats. The cans are only 8 oz's. Therefore, I needed to purchase 2 to complete cover both beds with 2 coats. It's expensive, however, it served the purpose and went on well. Time will only tell how it will hold up.

Not what I expected

This cedar oil quickly soaked into the dried-out cedar flooring in my closet and gave it new life. And it smells wonderful too.

A needed step for your cedar. Scent is not as lasting as you might expect.

would /will buy again

Most people buy this product to restore cedar and smell. I buy this product cause it kills ants and spiders instantly. Spray this oil inside house around every border 12 inches in every room and around doors and any place an ant or spider could come in. It works instantly. Pleasant Garden, NC

This restored the scent of the cedar chest I was refinishing. Now my cedar chest smells wonderful and will be protective of the materials I put into it.

it worked well

Bought this real cedar oil to restore cedar shoe trees that lost their smell. This worked out perfectly. Used some light sandpaper on the wood then put on two coats of the oil on two consecutive days. Let the trees dry for two more days before putting them in my shoes. I have enough oil left in the can to do this several times more on the six pair of trees here. The trees really have been restored even better than when they were new. Highly recommend but do the light sanding first before applying the oil!

This product exceeded my expectations. I have an 80-year-old cedar chest that belonged to my parents. After many years of being in a smoky environment, it had completely lost its cedar aroma. I sanded it and applied the Giles and Kendall Cedar Oil. The chest is now as good as new!

Doesn't" exactly smell like fresh cedar wood , but smells close enough.

It’s not a strong overwhelming scent.

Not my idea of aromatic. It has a very weak scent and I was very disappointed in the product. I should have ordered the 4 oz. size and waited for it to ship. That way I would be less disappointed. This stuff ain't cheap! If you're going to go ahead and buy it anyway, try the smaller size first.

This cedar oil is expensive but it does work nice. It has a strong cedar smell, since you don't have to use that much the container will last a long time. I got 3+ years out of the last container I purchased.

I use it everyday and will be buying it again.

does not smell like cedar but rather an old ashtray full of cigarette butts…for such an outrageous price it could at least SMELL like cedar..

Smells great to me. Hope that it repels those pesky and destructive moths.

Maybe I just got something from a bad batch but this smells nothing like aromatic cedar anything to me. It has more of an "earthy" scent that is difficult to describe, not really pleasant, but anyone who has smelled cedar would never say that is what is smells like. Considering the price tag, I expected something better.

It served the purpose.
