Barely a month in and it broke. Did nothing special but use it 3-4 times.

Do not buy it too bad industry, it cracked and burst because it is not strong and not good since the first days of purchase

This “kink resistant” hose had a bad kink just from the packaging it came in.

My flexogen hose failed after two years. This is an expensive hose and I expected it to last for many years. The water outlet side brass fitting started leaking profusely at a seam. Since the hose is guaranteed for life I submitted a warranty claim, with picture, to Gilmour and assumed that I would replace the entire product. Instead they sent me a replacement fitting and assumed I have the tools and time to fix their lifetime warrantied product. What kind of lifetime warranty is this??

I don't think I can say too much about a garden hose, but this one looks good, seems to be well made and seems to be heavy duty as advertised. The true test will be how long it lasts in use.

My old hose gets a LOT of sun, and hence had many exterior cracks. Additionally, it was unusually heavy for a hose. This Flexogen hose solves both of those problems. It's exterior coat is more plastic than rubber, preventing the kind of drying out you would get with a standard rubber hose. On the weight side of things, this hose is just about middle of the pack. Not unnecessarily heavy, but heavy enough that you feel the quality. Additional emphasis has been placed on the hose ends which usually are an after thought in most hoses. The end that screws into the faucet has a hard rubber neck which will prevent crimping at the connection. But my favorite feature by far is the hex wrench fitting. I can't tell you how many times i've literally CRUSHED the far end of the hose trying to remove or replace a plastic spray nozzle that has broken. About half the time a wrench is needed as the nozzles just refuse to come off. No more crushed ends with this clever yet ridiculously simple solution! A good hose all around.

we have not used it yet, but if it is kink free it will be what we hope for in a garden hose

bought this as a second hose for my house, has worked very nicely. seems durable and I hope i lasts over time.

Hose functions as needed

The Gilmour 5/8 in. 50ft hose was a great deal. It's the perfect length to reach my back fence and seems tough enough to last. It was originally mismarked in store, but the HD associate quickly corrected it. Good product, good service.

Great hose for the price. Rolls up well and doesn’t kink.

I had recently bought a 100 ft hose as a replacement for a worn out hose. I discovered that the old hose was longer than 100 ft. I bought the 50 ft hose to extend the reach. I am happy with both purchases which are more flexible and lighter than the old hose.

This is a flimsier hose than suitable for longer than 25'. The walls are not as thick and sturdy as copy promotes. I was extremely annoyed that this 75' hose, rolled out to just 30-40', began twisting and kinking once it was time to pull and loop it back onto the hose rack. I am very careful to avoid kinks as in my early gardening days I kinked a high grade hose (which after a repair is still doing great). This one folds and kinks too easily. Does not withstand normal careful use.

This hose does the job. It is not exceptional or grand. But it was in my budget. Also, I think the packaging said it didn’t kink… I’m not sure… but it does

Supposedly this is a kink free contractor hose. it's not. it is trash. immediately bunched up into no less than 5 kinks that will not stay unkinked. also where there were package ties around the hose the hose is permanently pinched..
