This faucet has some definite Pros and Cons; depending on your installation requirements and usage, it may work for you or not. Here's what I found:
Pros: It's a nice looking faucet; looks great in the dark brown color scheme we have in our kitchen.
The 'touchless' feature works well and is very useful when you've got gunky hands. (Although an A/C adapter would have been nice.)
Cons: The 'quick connect' tool is plastic, and if you're installing this in an existing kitchen rather than a new build, you may have problems like we did. The plastic tool is so large it didn't fit in the space required & it ended up breaking while we were trying to make it work. Plastic is NOT a good option for this tool. We couldn't make the old washer fit and couldn't find one that would, so couldn't fully install the faucet.
Calling Glacier Bay was not real helpful. They were nice, but said a 'technician' would get back to us, which never happened. We called back and they were supposed to send us a new (metal) washer/connector. That was a week ago, and no part yet, and no usable faucet.
Another 'Con': I found the water flow to be terrible -- so bad that I can hardly get the faucet to turn on at all. When we take it apart to install the replacement part, I'm going to see if there's a flow restrictor I can remove.
So, if you're just going for looks, want a touchless faucet and don't mind the large plastic 'quick connect' washer, this may work for you. If not, you'd best find something else.
