Very easy to assemble. I love how the sink is shaped and rectangular. It is exactly what I was looking for at an incredibly low price point. I have a small bathroom and this piece looks fantastic in our new remodel. Basin and vanity are vety easy to clean. All you need to do is wipe it with a nonabrasive lysol wipe and voila!

We chose the Shaila 30.5" vanity to replace an outdated one in a recent renovation of a small bathroom (30 sq/ft). This vanity's shallow depth (16.5") makes it ideal for the tighter space. Don't let that discourage you though -- Somehow they've managed to incorporate plenty of storage space in a beautify and modern design. We love it!

It's a nice little vanity for a decent price. Yes, it's made of MDF or particle board, but for under $200, it's a decent vanity. The sink looks nice and it was relatively easy to install. Just place in desired location, screw to wall studs, and attach the top (sink) with silicone sealant. We used it in our powder room which previously had a 30" vanity. The 24" vanity makes the room feel much bigger and the narrow frame allows us to open the door all the way now. It was exactly what we needed.

This vanity is very narrow but looks great. The clean lines and rectangular sink make it look modern yet classic with the white finish. It went perfect in our 1st floor bathroom that is narrow to begin with. The narrow shape gave the entry way more room as you walk in. Since the sink is pretty wide, you don't get that much counter top space but it works for a guest bathroom.

This wonderful vanity not only met our expectations but exceeded them! We are as happy with this product as we are with Home Depot's customer service and availability to meet our needs. After using the vanity for about two weeks now, we know we made the right choice as it fits perfectly in our bathroom and is very aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. The basin is the perfect depth and the ample storage affords us many uses.

    Perfect for my small bathroom...
We have 3 bathrooms, one of which is in the finished basement. That is where I have placed this vanity. It is the perfect size for the room. The vanity itself comes shipped with the top as a separate piece, which needs to be glued/caulked into place. The vanity is very light and I was able to move it by my self without the top on it. Also, keep in mind, there is no backing on it, as it will set against the wall and allow for the plumbing to come into it without having to cut away anything. The best feature of this vanity is the molded in sink, which makes for clean lines and easy cleanup. Regarding the quality of this vanity, don't expect a top quality piece, but for the budget friendly update, this contemporary styled vanity will do the trick. Check out the pictures......

I purchased this item on-line from Home Depot based on photos and dimensions. My only criteria were that It had to fit within a certain space in the bathroom and match the tile. The Shaila Gray Oak cabinet is made of particle board with what seems to be a vinyl veneer and doors are wood. The veneer has a gray oak pattern and was acceptable but the doors were brown (and didn't come close to matching). See photo. I called Glacier Bay because I thought maybe the doors were mismatched to the vanity. I was told that this was a common complaint and there is no remedy since the doors, being wood, couldn't be painted at the factory to match the veneer. I have returned the vanity since it did not meet my expectations. Other than the aesthetics, it seemed to be fairly well built for a $200 vanity.

      Cheaply made
This vanity is made from particleboard (chipboard). This is the material that swells up if it gets wet and does not unswell when it dries out. If ever you spill water or have a plumbing issue with this vanity it will likely swell up and look ugly. In addition, the boards are just stapled together, and not very accurately at that. Hinges look solid, but time will tell. The doors look nice. Not sure what will happen when they get wet. The rear panel is very thin, ¼” plywood, so there is very little diagonal strength to the unit. Sink looks nice and is expected to be held onto the vanity by gravity and caulking only. Sink part is made in Mexico. All sinks should have a small lip around the edge so that water splash drains INTO the sink. This is just plain common sense but seems to have escaped this manufacturer. Installation is simple, and the instructions comprise of a single page. The steps are: Screw the vanity to the wall, shim to make it level, apply caulk along the top and place the sink on it. Screw the supplied door knobs on. I suggest you caulk very well along the top of the ‘walls’ of the cabinet and around the base of the sink so that any water running off the side of the sink does not find its way into the particle board.

      looks nice, questionable quality
WE bought this item twice and it was damaged both times. Sink was broken the first time and the doors were warped the second time. We ended up keeping the second one even though it was not perfect because I had to get the bathroom install completed. We will have to deal with the warp-ness. On the plus side, it looks nice.

      Good .... but
Medium-dark gray oak cabinet front and doors. Sides are MDF made of color- and grain-matched laminate. Back panels and floor are light-oak-colored laminate. Cabinet is sturdy and 22" deep so it fits in a small bathroom well. The 4"-thick sink top sits on top of the cabinet and it attached only with silicone seal between the cabinet top and the sink. The one-piece, cast ceramic sink has some sort of white coating (mine was made in Mexico); it has a clean modern look, but herein also lay a problem. After my husband and I had removed and discarded the old sink, installed the new cabinet and sink top, and hooked up the new faucet and drain (it is now about 6:00 pm Sunday night) our first test of the sink showed a hair-line crack in the bottom of the sink just above the point where the P-trap connected to the sink, so the sink itself leaked. Oh woe! We thought we were done! The leaked water, even though it only sat on the floor of the cabinet for a little while, caused the finish on the cabinet floor to bubble. The local Home Depot didn't have another unit in stock and couldn't get one for another two weeks. However, Home Depot came through! In a panic, with one hour to go before closing, As I was looking through the available 30" sink tops for anything that had a 4": faucet spread so we could put something on top of the cabinet, I explained my problem to a passing salesman, pointing to the display model to identify the unit we had purchased. Oh yeah ( and just because) on my way to the store I had taken a cell-phone picture of the label on the under side of the defective sink. With unparalleled flexibility, the salesman matched the model number on my picture with the model number on the display and, after checking with some sort of manager, agreed to swap my cracked sink for the one in the display. After all, the display didn 't have to actually hold water! This didn't solve the bubbled cabinet bottom, but a piece of left-over vinyl will hide that. So, by 10:00 pm Sunday night,. we had a water-tight, quite decent looking new sink. That didn't leak. So, our Home Depot really does have good customer focus, but it you buy one of these things, check the quality of the sink top really carefully before you go to the trouble to hook it all up.

        For an economical remodel.
I would say this is an economical upgrade, but it all depends on what you have prior to installing the Shaila vanity combo. +++ The pluses +++ + The vanity is assembled, except for the knobs. The holes for knobs are pre-drilled. + The doors come with decent hinge hardware, although they are not soft close hinges. + The cultured marble top has the modern look. Keep in mind, cultured marble is stone pieces with resin. It is not solid marble. + Economical in value. --- The negatives--- - The corner braces are cardboard. Considering bathrooms tend to get a lot of moisture, this probably is a very bad idea for longevity. - Some one during the manufacturing process must believe the staples add to the strength. They tend to get carried away with staples during the construction of the unit. - The "wood" look is just that. It is some type of imitation wood look paper adhered to press board. All in all this may be suffice, but I would not necessarily say this product is an upgrade. It all depends what you have prior to installing this product.

        Nice Small Bath Upgrade
The Shaila bath vanity and vanity top will freshen up any bathroom. Due to the 24.5 x 16.5 size, this is a great option for a powder room or small bathroom. The vanity is well build and sturdy with no assembly required (except installing the door pulls in pre-drilled holes). The cultured marble top gives a clean white look and it is very durable. This unit is easy to install with an open back to receive standard waste and supply plumbing. In a normal install, it should take 30min to 1 hour and your bathroom will have a new, fresh, clean look!

Modern and stylish look? Don't buy!!
This SHAILA 30-1/2 IN. W VANITY IN SILVERLEAF WITH CULTURED MARBLE VANITY TOP IN WHITE, was shipped to me. When I opened the package, which appeared to be very well done, I was disappointed to see the 2 small chips on the lower edge of the front sink top. I contacted the supplier, which sent me a second unit, unfortunately, it too was damaged, even worse than the first one, the front leading edge was not properly finished, it was rough to the touch and appeared to not have sufficient material applied during fabrication. The cabinet portion appears to be in good condition. The sink top is now out of inventory and company suggested I make do with what I have. I gave a 1 star rating because the cabinets are in good condition.

Quite a looker for a small space
Replacing a 30 year old vanity is always an exciting adventure. And with this Glacier Bay vanity combo, it was a breeze as well. The design of this vanity is for the most part excellent. From the subtle yet noticeable bottom front toe-kick to the single piece square sink bowl, this combo will be the star of any bathroom makeover. The sink is wide, with room on the sides for placing items, which makes it much better than a pedestal for small spaces. Yet it is also not very deep, at only 16.5 inches meaning that it sits closer to the wall. This surprisingly opens up a small bathroom giving it a more spacious feel, yet you don't feel you're missing anything as the sink is still so large. A wonderful design. The top sink piece is solid ceramic, and quite heavy. It comes separate from the main cabinet. While this is nice, and allows for an easy installation, there is far too much ambiguity of where the top is supposed to sit on the cabinet. If the vanity cabinet is installed flush against the wall, then the sink top overhangs the front ledge, and provides no place for mounting. If it is installed with the front flush, then approximately 1/2 inch spacers need to be placed against the back wall. The lack of a clearly defined location for the top, along with some sort of deterministic mounting mechanism, results in potential installation error issues. SUMMARY Looks absolutely gorgeous. The sink is just perfect for a small space being wide yet not too deep. Cabinet is spacious and looks wonderful. Ambiguous sink top placement can lead to confusion and errors during installation.

Shaila 30-1/2 in. Vanity in Gray Oak
Very nice cabinet that fits smaller bathrooms but has good storage space. The matching mirror also is great but it would be better if this series came with a matching over-the-john (OTJ) storage cabinet. I really needed it for my rental so I had someone make one in oak and match the stain as close as possible. My opinion is that all or most sink vanities should have a matching storage OTJ cabinets as well as mirrors.

Damaged product ( prior to packing and shipping to store)
Bottom of sink has several big chips and it also looks like there were others that were filled with cement. Quality control in Mexico ( per labels on bottom of sink) leaves a lot to be desired. Have pix but can't upload them to this posting.

        perfect for smaller spaces
Very simple and elegant design for smaller sized bathrooms. The install was easy and took only 1 hour. This unit ships without the faucet hardware. The one corner of the left door is just a tad off center, but it was easy to fix just apply a little upward pressure to the door. The color and finish of the unit looks sleek and modern, a great way to update the look of an existing bathroom.

Love my new Vanity and Sink
Check it out. This Vanity looks so good in my half bathroom. Super easy installation. I have a picture showing the plumbing lines coming into the Vanity. The sink just sits down on top of the vanity. I glued it down using liquid nails, you will need to buy the liquid nails and cocking gun. The sink cleans easily. I used a standard drain and faucet as shown. It looks good and matches the new tile really good. I’m very pleased.

A budget vanity for a tight space, but few other redeeming qualities
This is a standard 30" wide cabinet, built to the newer tall cabinet size. The depth, however is only about 17," making it fit nicely in smaller bathrooms. The vanity top is almost two inches thick, creating a nice look. Other than that it's largely a cheap and unattractive cabinet. The entire cabinet is made of particle board. The top feels more like plastic than cultured marble, and there is no back splash or even a raised edge along the back. If you have a small bath, and you are looking for a cheap option for that bath then this may be something to consider. Otherwise, you may want to look for something else.

        Not quite what I expected.
This cabinet did not turn out to be what I thought from the picture. I really like the look of the white top but it came with a couple of dings on the bottom. Hopefully we can straighten them out with the caulk and make them blend. The cabinet turned out to be a darker gray than I wanted and cheap looking. The doors are wood, but the rest looks like particle board which I don't really like. It will work for us though because it is more modern looking than what we have and for the bathroom we are putting it in, we don't want to pay more. We are just waiting to renovate bathroom to put it in. Our bathroom now is below: outdated browns and yellows.

        Looks nice, easy to install
To install it took about 30 minutes, I took the old vanity off and installed the new one so it was easy. I had an all white vanity and it was nice for a few years but this one brought some color into the washroom. It looks modern, elegant and clean.

Installs easily. Compliments a small bathroom space. Particle board construction, but good quality hardware.
Overall, my impression of this vanity is positive. The vanity cabinet comes assembled, but requires installation of the cabinet knobs and attachment of the white cultured marble top using a silicon caulk/sealant (not included). Cultured marble is a blend of stone particles and resin that is made to resemble natural stone, but IMHO the sink that came with this vanity looks and feels plasticy. The height of the cabinet, where the back and side panels join, was not even, which left a approximately 1/8-inch gap in the back, where the cabinet meets the top, which isn’t noticeable after you adhere the top to the cabinet with silicon caulk. A backsplash is not included. The rectangular shaped sink measures 5-1/2-inches deep, 20-inches wide and 10-3/8 inches wide. The top features three cutouts to accommodate a 4-inch centerset faucet. The white label covering the faucet cutouts was difficult to remove and did not simply peel cleanly off in one piece. I like that the sink is large, but it doesn’t allow you to place much more than a soap dish and a tooth brush on each side. For that reason, this vanity is better suited for a ½-bath or guest bathroom than for a master bathroom where the vanity top is tyoically used as a workspace and cluttered with make-up, deodorants, bottles of shampoo, hair dryer, etc. The cabinet is constructed of particle board with plastic corner braces that are stapled to add structural support. The particle board cabinet is wrapped in a gray oak melamine paper laminated finish which, while often used on bathroom vanities, and is fairly durable and easy to clean, does not stand up well overtime to water and is vulnerable to chipping, especially at the particle-board edges. The panel doors and front of the vanity are made of wood or medium-density fiberboard, which closely resembles wood, which like the cabinet, is also finished in gray oak that contrasts well with the white top. The back of the cabinet is open to allow for plumbing, with the exception of 4-inch wide cardboard panels that flank each of the left and right side. The interior of the vanity is finished in maple melamine paper laminate. Each cabinet door features a silver-tone knob which installs easily with a medium flat head or Phillips head screwdriver, and two adjustable full overlay hinges. There is no interior shelf or drawers, which is typical for a vanity of this size. Particle board construction aside, this is a nice looking and stylish vanity, and compliments a small bathroom space well. I especially like that this vanity, including all parts (knobs, hinges), is warranted against substantial defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. Because the gray oak finish is somewhat unique, I’d suggest purchasing the coordinating 31L x 24W mirror at Home Depot (#MS2431-GOK).

Combo Vanity stylish Finish to Smaill Bath
The Shaila Vanity Combo is a great choice for a small classic bathroom. The 16.5 inch depth really works great in a small space while still providing a very functional sink and storage. The vanity is well build and very easy to install. It is fully assembled except for the sink top and only takes only about 1 hr. This product looks great and is an exceptional value for a quick bathroom updgrade.

        OK product. easy install.
Easy to install cabinet with complete open back. Hardware was missing, but we were able to buy decorative cabinet knobs at a craft store. Sink is the best part, it was really sleek and high quality. Bought a nice faucet to complement it. Looks so much better than the 30 yr old builders grade Formica for just great price and just a few minutes to install!!
