Well made and strong. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour, it certainly would’ve been easier with two people, but it is easily an afternoon project by yourself.

We love our Gladiator rta extra large gear box. Was so easy to assemble.

Assembly was a breeze.. very spacious plentiful of room.

Very pleased with this purchase! Product came complete, installation took 2.5 hours. Did 95% by myself! Can't wait to get it in its final spot so I can load it up!! Will be adding more screws to the backside, to sturdy it more. Probably overkill, but it makes me feel better! All the poor reviews had me wondering if I would be able to do this myself, but it really was very straight forward and easy! I'm 63 yo female!!

Excellent cabinet for garage storage needs. Product is well made.

Great product. The assembly direction should be changed to plum the sides rather then level shelf’s. Plum sides allow for the doors to fit properly

I am very pleased with my purchase. The leveling feet are a bonus. My garage never looked better.

I own 4 other gladiator cabinets all of which are decent cabinets, good not great.

I assembled this cabinet today and was totally disappointed when I opened the box. While the box was not damaged, a number of the pieces inside were. One side panel has a deep gouge in the paint about the size of a quarter - it goes all the way to the metal. The support column inside of the door is dented all the way across. One of the door corners has a hairline crack, and the other a small external dent. The quality of the cabinet otherwise is quite nice. The damage is unfortunate.

Easy enough to put together. Helped to have two people do some of the panels could be held by one of us while the other attached bolts/screws to the corners, etc. Using this for a garage pantry. Looks awesome, and it is very much helping out with our clutter.

took longer than said to recive it but it was worth the wait, the cabinet was easy to put together, and worked very well with the other gladiator cabinets that I had already had installed in the garage. Very well constructed and holds every thing I need to put in it, from tools to paint. If you are looking for a big cabinet this is one you should look at.

Excellent product. Well manufactured, easy to assemble and quite sturdy. Looks good too and great value for the price. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gladiator Garageworks Ready-to-Assemble Extra Large GearBox is ideal to store the items I originally had on shelves in my garage. It is very sturdy and well constructed. I like the option of adding more shelves but the items I'll be adding are large and the one shelf provided works well. Assembly was easy and took me less than an hour. Very pleased with this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this extra large gear box in a timely manner. The packaging is okay, but ours did show signs of damage during shipping. Picture attached. Once opened the cabinet did have dings and dents, which were easier to overlook with it being used in the garage. The directions were concise and simple. All materials were well labeled. It took two people (it’s heavy!) but was generally an easy build. The shelves are well spaced and it holds a ton!

It comes ready to assemble and is massive in size measuring 48 in W by 18 in D by 72 in tall. My husband rated assembly difficulty as a 5 or 6, not super easy but nod super hard either if you know what your are doing. It features 1 fixed and 2 adjustable shelves allowing different heights depending on your needs. The adjustable leveler legs stabilize the cabinet Made of solid and durable steel construction making it a cabinet sure to last for years. My husband is what I call a hoarder, especially when it comes to his garage. This gearbox is going to be a life saver helping him get all of his garage stuff stored and organized. It will hold all of his odds and ends such as bags of concrete and paint on the bottom shelves and power tools and extra batteries, home renovation supplies and a host of other hodge podge miscellaneous items he has to save and store in our garage. A nice bonus is the lock and key making sure your items are kept are and secure. If you are serious about garage organization and storage I would highly recommend this Gearbox.

Awesome cabinet! Surprisingly, there was very little damage considering other reviews. I assembled it myself and it took 2 hours. Directions are very good and it looks great with my other gladiator cabinets. I highly recommend it!

Great and excellent product

The product came well packaged with easy to follow directions. We bought 3 and they assembled very well, they look great, they hold a lot of stuff and we were able to add additional shelving to meet our own needs. We did not position the center shelf per the instructions as we needed additional room for specific tools. Therefore we were not able to use the locking mechanisms on the doors.

We have bought 9 different cabinets (of various sizes and styles) from gladiator over the years and would highly recommend to anyone. They're very well built, durable, and high quality.

Easy to put together, heavy duty.

These cabinets are the best. HD consistently sells them at the best price. Ordering and pick up was a piece of cake from HD. Delivery has always been a week plus or minus a day. I just wished they carried them in their store. I have installed and furnished my shop and garage with many of the Gladiator products. I am sold on these for storage. They keep dust off everything and look great. I have used both the RTA and Premiere to fit the different sizes and needs. All are excellent. I would buy more, but I've just about installed as many as possible in my shop and garage. Highly recommend them.

Storage cabinet came in a well-protected shipping box, complete with all assembly hardware and easy-to-follow assembly instructions. One person can manage but is a lot easier with two people. Very sturdy when fully assembled and leveled with the floor levelers. Best cabinet of all that I looked at and at a great price-point.

I purchased three of these cabinets. The first one had a dent in the bottom deck and the top right inner door was bent. The box was not damaged so I'm not sure if it was truly damage and manufactured that way. I offered pictures but Home Depot wasn't interested in them. The instructions were incorrect for the bottom deck (P2 vs P3) but it was easy to figure out on my own. The cabinet flexed a lot during leveling and installing and required some tweaking to get the doors squared with the opening...Overall, I'm happy with these cabinet but they are not a sturdy as the preassembled ones that I previously bought to attached to the wall (12 x 30")...

The large size is perfect for what I need. I saw another review about only 3 shelves - they can be purchased seperately, and I do need a 4th shelf. This cabinet is much sturdier than I though it would be for a non-fire rated cabinet. The shelves will hold a lot of weight. It takes 2 people to move the box when you get it. I've finally graduate from unsightly particle board shelves and can now put all my painting supplies, lubricants, car cleaners, and fastener organizers away and close the doors. Assembly was actually easier than the smaller cabinets Gladiator makes. Pros: Very sturdy and well built for the price (on Christmas sale); great size; looks awesome; easy to assemble; came with all the parts in good condition. Cons: The leveling feet cannot be adjusted from within the cabinet - recommend not screwing them all the way in during assembly, so you can access the 1/2" notch from under the cabinet; key falls out of the hole, so find a home elsewhere for it; wouldn't pay full price for it

The size capacity of this cabinet is great. It does feel sturdy but I wish the shelves had a higher weight limit, 100 lbs at least per shelf versus 50lbs. The back panels of the cabinet should be a lot stiffer for this price, to easy to bend it. I had a hard time putting this together. The holes are where they should be but are not tapped correctly. Make sure to get this item on sale. For full price, it needs to be slightly better made, be sturdier, and higher weight capacity per shelf. Maybe also the option of having wheels.

My son-in-law and I recently bought and assembled four of these cabinets for use in the garage. We started at 8 p.m. and finished by 1:30 a.m. Assembly is straightforward and logical with only Allen wrenches (provided) and screw drivers needed. Two of the cabinets had minor dent damage but we determined not worth taking them back. Assembled cabinets are attractive and strong. Garage is now highly organized and everybody is happy. Mission accomplished.
