Cheap - you get what you pay for. Peeled off with the tape. Surface was cleaned and dry before painting. Will never buy again.

Excellent paint and coverage.

Was purchased for a customer to paint their bedroom. Although the product claims to cover in one coat, this is a not so with many paints including this one. I have used several other more expensive paints that claim to do the same. They failed in the one coat category as well. If your looking for a quality paint that wont break your budget, this is a solid choice. The coverage is about 400sqft per gallon.

True to its label, 1 coat is all it took to cover up dark grey walls when painting with pink paint. Made the job so much easier then using a lot of other types of paint.

This paint goes on smooth and thick. Able to cover in one coat. Home Depot can match exact colors for good touch ups or new paint.

I can forgive the thinness of the paint (even though it shouldn't be) and the fact that it took 3 coats (despite the one coat guarantee), but there were more paint chunks in the can than I've ever experienced. Horrible!

Glides on easily without the need to prime the walls first. The shade we chose is softer than a bright white and adds a coolness to the room without being harsh

Not bad paint had to do two coats but looked pretty good.

Purchased 3 gallons of flat paint for my basement walls. Began painting and noticed chunks in the paint. We were using it the same day it was purchase- thought maybe something was off with the first gallon but continued to happen in all 3. Spent triple the time picking chunks off the wall very dissatisfied with purchase.

One coat and that's it, couldn't believe it was so affordable and whole lot better paint than the other brand names.

Applies smoothly and was just what I expected . Nice sheen for my walls and cabinets . I used semi gloss on my walls for easy cleaning and so they would have a little shine to them . Looks great to me not that flat dull look that I was tired of .

Great coverage with just one coat.

Great coverage. I’ve always loved Pittsburgh Paints (PPG) paint products and this did not disappoint. Amazing coverage. I was painting a light gray-blue over a medium tan and a darker clay colored walls. 2 coats covered quickly and easily. It’s a thicker paint without feeling like it’s too thick, heavy, or pasty. Hung onto the roller and brushy nicely without drips or mess. I also chose a dark blue (SW Denim) and painted a focal wall and barely needed a second coat. So impressed! Nearly no smell at all once dry—you’d hardly even know I painted last week!

Hands down the best interior paint I've ever used .dark colors cover light in one coat and white colors cover dark in one coat. This product is also very user friendly. Most of the other one coat paints Tend 2 gum up, pull and sag to the point where you have to babysit each wall until it dries. I've used timeless 5 or 6 times including their pure White to roll ceilings with a 9 inch roller and they covered and one coat over old horsehair plaster and did not spray my head wants with roller spray. I've been in the professional painting business 4/32 years and have used every product from every manufacturer you cannot beat this paint.

I wanted to use Glidden because I liked their color light sage. I put a sample on my siding in winter, just to see how it would look, and it held up nicely through winter with just one coat. Paint goes on very smooth over aluminum and the fumes were quite low and non-bothersome, despite not being labled low/0 voc. Good coverage with primer mixed in.

We have used Glidden Diamond GLD7411 in the past. Home Depot told us they no longer make this & said it was replaced with PPG Diamond PPG53-510 & that it was better than GLD7411 so we purchased several cans. We always use painters tape when we paint & remove it immediately after we paint. We painted our living room that has new dry wall that was primed & completely dry before painting. When we removed the painters tape, oh my gosh, we noticed the paint bubbled & peeled in several places. I am so upset! This NEVER happened to us before with the GLD7411. We will never purchase this paint again. Unfortunately, I can’t return the paint that was tinted but am returning the extra brand new, unopened, white can of paint. Ticks me off all the money wasted on this paint but worse is having to now trying to repair it to the point where it’s not noticeable. We tried repainting over one section but it didn’t work, so, we’ll probably have to sand it down, put plaster, sand that down, prime & repaint. More work than should be. Extremely disappointing.

Some paints simply are too thin or spreads watery. I have never used the PPG Diamond before this recent project. I can only imagine people giving a mediocre or poor rating due to their misconception that they don't require any preparation. For my wall, ALL paint brands would require full preparation: fill all tack holes, spackle all joints and sheetrock nails, sand, old paint needing a TSP equivalent scrubbing, high quality primer, and PPG Diamond, and second coat. I used Satin on walls and eggshell on ceiling (for good reason). Outstanding outcome!

Bought the paint with primer ,hoping to cut my painting time . It worked . Color and texture is great . Covered in 1 coat . Would buy again

The paint did not have a strong smell and dried fast. Used only one coat on most surfaces (had to use 2 coats on roughly textured walls).

6 month old paint job. painted tan over white primer and it was a 2+ coat job. went in to touch up the ceiling (same paint, different color but still finding missed spots) and the walls are a mess. the paint rubs and scratches anywhere it gets touched by something. this is beyond touch up. this is going to have to be completely redone.

I have done a lot of painting in my life and this product is the worst I've ever used. It's like trying to paint Elmer's glue on your trim and get a smooth finish. The more you try to run your brush across and get it smooth the worse it gets. This was window trim that was sanded, cleaned and primed before trying to apply this paint. Thank goodness I only used on the one window before stopping because I will now probably have to sand it down and start from scratch. It's just very bad do yourself a favor and buy another product.
