Globe Electric floor lamp works great for multiple directional lighting. The color was listed as Rose in the description, but I think it is a very soft powder pink that would blend with just about any color scheme. The lamp came with instructions for easy assembly; taking me less than ten minutes. It has a maximum bulb use of 60 watts, which is what I will use to get the most light on my desk. The floor switch is an added convenient feature.

This lamp isn't the best for lighting up a whole room, but it does function well for supplemental lighting. The lamp functions best for lighting up targeted areas such as maybe your reading chair. It only is rated for a 60 watt bulb though. You can pivot the shade to direct the light where you want it. The light turns on via a button on the ground that you step on with your foot. I included a picture of this. Also note that the lamp has gold accents, but otherwise it is a fairly classic looking lamp.

I needed a smaller floor lamp behind a recliner and saw this and loved the soft pink color. Had been wanting to get a bit more color in my den instead of the standard browns and beiges and this fit the bill. Put a Hue color bulb in it and it works perfectly and just right for reading for that recliner.

Love this lamp! It blends in nicely due to the size and height. The shades swivels to numerous angles. It’s an amazing little lamp for the price!

Fast easy efficient just what I wanted.

I stage and re-design interiors, and this Globe electric black floor lamp is off the charts for crisp, clean modern design. It funtions wonderfully and add height and interest to an otherwise "at one eye level room". A decorators dream. You've outdone yourself - modern thinker- Home Depot.

This lamp is incredibly good looking for the price. Great design and convenient foot switch. Highly recommend.

The black floor lamp looks really sleek and the segments of the pole screw together securely. It is very easy to assemble. The lamp is definitely a task lamp rather than a fixture to light a large area. After using ibeside the couch in my living room, I think it would be more useful to have the on/off switch on the pole somewhere rather than the along the cord on the floor. The switch is a cheap plastic button that flips over easily and is the same quality as what you get on prelit Christmas trees. It has worked well, though, and overall I am pleased.

This is a reasonably attractive light, and quite easy to assemble. You just have to screw several threaded pieces of pole into the base. It provides ample light to read or work in a chair seated next to the lamp. It has a foot-operated switch that allows you to easily turn the lamp on or off. It's not exactly a head turner, but it looks pretty innocuous and does the job it's supposed to.

This Lex 60 in black floor lamp is great ! It is sleek, stylish and makes a wonderful reading lamp. I love the black shade too. The lamp we replaced this with had a white shade and allowed the bulb to reflect off of the tv screen. The black shade helps to focus the light from the bulb in the direction it's pointed in. You still get a lot of light, it's just more focused on the area where you need it. For our house, this is just the ticket!

This lamp took only a few minutes to assemble. The design is very simple and minimalistic so it easily blends into any décor. It is perfect for behind a reading chair or in a corner where you need more light. The design does not draw your attention yet it is still very attractive. The 'gold' accents on the lamp are a brushed finished rather than a 'brassy' look, so it looks modern and attractive. The lamp head directs the light forward to illuminate what you are reading or to 'spot' an item you want noticed, rather than lighting up a whole room. It is a very slim design but the base is heavy enough to prevent it from being knocked over (a "plus" when you have pets or children). I highly recommend this lamp.
