We like the regular Goof Off, but we bought this for some spots we got on our white siding that we couldn’t get off. This spray Goof Off actually made it look worse! Not sure what we can try next, but we can’t get this off. Won’t buy it again.

This is a very helpful product for cleaning adhesive residue and dried paint. I don't know where the error happened, but my company had ordered one 18 ounce can of Goof Off, and when the order got picked up by our staff, the store apparently had substituted two 6 ounce cans for the 18 ounce can. The paperwork from the Lorain store does not reflect this substitution, and I don't know whether our company would be charged for this or that. Does the manufacturer not provide the larger can anymore?

I am not going to tell what this product does not work for. I am going to tell you what it works for: Latex paint and car paint scratches from other cars. 1- My wife just purchased a brand new car last week, and yesterday she showed me a 4" area with blue paint on top of her metallic white paint. I used soap and water, I used a scrapper wrapped in a towel and nothing worked. Finally I decided to look online and found a video of a car detailing guy recommending this product. It took all of 2 seconds to clean the paint using a paper towel. I am now a super hero. 2- I used it to clean an old paint scratch from my baseboards. (I am assuming from moving furniture) again it took about two seconds to clean the scuff paint (I have tried to remove it in the past using other products and was waiting to find time to paint over it) This Product WORKS!

I bought this to remove sticky gunk from the driveway. I applied it and waited 5 minutes. it started to dry so I applied more. I then took a pressure washer. It didn't even begin to remove the gunk. I also tried it on a couple rust stains. it also did nothing for that. It smells like WD-40 for those curious.

Removing carpet glue from a concrete floor and scraping wasn’t working very well. Used Goof Off on the floors and it softened the glue so it came off much easier. Thicker spots had to be done twice but i highly recomend it. Only drawback was the highly toxic smell so have a fan and an open door to let the fumes out.

This product removed paint on my garage floor. Just spray it on and wipe it off. Need to scrub a bit. Product works well. Smell is not too strong. Highly recommended.

Worked well to remove a very hard, stuck-on mystery substance. Required some elbow grease, but all things considered, I think it did its job. The photo shows the results. For less stubborn and known adhesives I think this would work wonders! I would purchase this again.

I’ll freely admit, goofs, painting, and me all go together like peas in a pod. I try to be careful, but a finish carpenter I am not. So goof off has been my saving grace many a time. But lest you think spills, goofs, and other mishaps are all due to me, my children have inherited this not-so favorable quality as well. I’ve always had a small bottle close by and it came in liquid form. This type branded as “Paint Remover for Hardwood” is in a gel form that I really like. It has worked wonders removing spilled nail polish, and no, not mine but my daughters... Paint and other “goofs” around my house. I wholeheartedly recommend this product! Please take a look at the attached video where my son and I demonstrate just how well it worked for us.

Goof Off easily removed paint from my hardwood floor without hurting the finish.

Works pretty good in removing a lot of different things. I usually just put some on a rag to use it. In my experience, once you put some on a rag you have to start rubbing it right away. If you wait too long to start using it, it seems to lose its effectiveness. Maybe it evaporates, I don't know. Sometimes you have to apply it several times. This stuff really has strong fumes, so that's something to watch out for.

Underneath vinyl flooring and then a layer of self-stick linoleum tiles, we uncovered the original 1952 tile floor with splotches of paint on it. After Goof Off Pro and a little elbow grease, it looks terrific! I did have the window open, fans running and I wore a respirator. The remover did end up dissolving my acid proof rubber gloves, so make sure you wear gloves that can stand up to xylene and acetone

use about 10 gallons of the stuff a year,,great for paint cleanup and general cleaner for the tuff stuff.

Recently had pool resurfaced, but painted the deck myself with Behr concrete stain - 2 coats. Anyway, I used the goof off to clean the splatter on the bricks and pool cage. After I realized this was happening, I covered the bricks with cardboard, but some paint 'dots' got through. I would recommend a "test" spot in a hidden area of whatever you're cleaning because goof off may also take off finish below your target. I learned the hard way!

Just as its name implies ... goof off. Removes all sorts of things. I use it to loosen gummed up tape residue and road tar.

Goof Off works very well to remove sticker adhesive. I used on a bottle and on my windshield to help replace my registration sticker.

This item removes the paint off the walls if used to remove sticky (picture hanging tape) things off the wall, but it is very strong and usable if removing tar and other things off surfaces like work bench, formica tops etc..

I've been using Goof Off for several years now. It tends to remove pretty much most of what you throw at it. Highly recommend it for the uses that it is designed for.
