The product serves a useful purpose. However, in my case it came in the package severely damaged. Trying to get a replacement was difficult and time consuming. Therefore, I had to make due. Beware that the product can be a little brittle and easily damaged during shipment.

I used the pre-pitch, quick pitch, weep hole protector and curb kit. These were essential for me as a DIYer to get a professional end result. I'd highly recommend the entire system to anyone looking for a perfect shower pan and curb system installation that meets code.
Making a shower pan is still very hard work but this system eliminates much of the stress associated with a DIYer's lack of experience - especially if you watch the Goof Proof Youtube videos.
Also on the Goof Proof website there is a support phone number if you have any questions. In my case I did and they answered right away and were very helpful. Great product and people that will support your installation.

This is used on a concrete based shower to prevent the weep hole from clogging during the concrete installation. Usually small pea stones are used. This is much more controlled and even. Nice product.

Had to build up the thin set to make up the base so my drain was not higher than my floor!!! Lost a lot of the fall to my drain because of it! Should have done it manually like my other shower! A waste of money!!! The curb perfect was a good buy.
