We were able to hook this up to the car tvs and connect to out internet making the TVs smart TVs in the car for the kids! That a great tool! Easy to set up and clear pictures. Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used older versions of the Google Chromecast before and this one is way better. I like the slim design of this newer model and the fact that it comes with a remote. It was very easy to setup and I didn’t even have to separately pair the remote with the tv. I like having the streaming services I use all available in one place and the remote even has a few direct shortcuts to some of the popular services which is handy. Otherwise the remote is pretty simple with the basic navigation and volume features. The interface is nice and easy to use and you can install whatever apps you prefer. The voice control is the only thing that didn’t work that well but other than that this provides a good streaming experience.

It really does control everything all in one. Chromecast with Google TV has made stuff much more simple. It is very easy to stream on multiple apps. The set up was very simple and user friendly. I love that you can use voice control in case you lose the remote like I always do. I would recommend this to anyone that would like one system to help control multiple apps and places to stream from all while using one remote!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Google has hit another home run with it newest iteration of the Nest Chromecast. This is my third upgrade for my Chromecast and it as an absolutely fantastic upgrade. The setup of the new Chromecast is simple. It is completed right in the Google Home app, which walks you through the steps. The entire setup process took about three minutes. The new remote is perfect. It was able to pair to my very old LCD TV with no issues so I am able to control the power and volume with ease. The remote is very intuitive and is great addition to the Chromecast line. All of the normal apps are available on the Chromecast. The wifi connection is strong, stable, and fast. Google has done a great job with it. It is a definite ten in my book.

I thought what good is the childrens tv since it's not a smart tv? Well turns out google chrome cast saved the day. Picture and all are great. No cons for us.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little device is powerful, small, and streams easily. It is comes with the hdmi dongle, power cord, remote, and two batteries. It connects easily to the tv and set up is rather straight forward using your Google Home app. It did take a few minutes to update when I first set it up, but that's too be expected. After the initial setup, everything has been very fast. Great product for an HD TV. You may want to update to the latest version if you have a 4k tv, but this fit my needs perfectly.

I figured this would be perfect to avoid having to buy an expensive new TV. And I was right. It is small and doesn't take up kuch space. Easy to setup and gives you access to all the popular streaming platforms. Now he can watch TV in his room! Love it.

I love that I can cast any video I’m watching fron different apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Spotify, etc. Set up is super quick and easy. You just plug the chromecast to the back of your tv and follow the instructions on the screen. It took less than 10 minutes to stream my favorite shows again!

Using it also I can get personal recommendations based on my subscriptions, viewing history, and content I own - all in one place and I don't have to jump between apps to decide what to watch, as well as I can use the remote to search with my voice, which is absolutely cool and amazing. It helps me watch live TV at all times. The Google Chromecast gives me loads of entertainment at all times, and needs no jumping and just watching, and my home screen displays movies and TV shows from all my services in one place. No more switching between apps to decide what to watch, and is easy to install as well as easy to stream on. Even I can use my voice to operate it. I have already recommended the Chromecast with Google TV (HD) streaming device to many of my friends and family and several of them have already purchased and used it, and they all love the amazing features of the Google Chromecast at all times and using this device they get loads of entertainment every day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Chromecast user for a couple of years. In my application, I have the Chromecast device connected to a stereo receiver's HDMI input, and then feed a monitor with the receiver. With the previous device, I could power the Chromecast with a USB output on the back of the receiver. Trying this with this new device yielded an error message, and I had to plug in the provided power supply to an outlet. Setup took a bit longer than expected, because the Chromecast needed to download some updates. Allow a good 30 minutes to get this up and running. All of that said, the remote is really handy! The remote has a great feel in your hand, and is ergonomically well designed. There are times when it's nice to not have to pick up my phone to watch stuff, and this remote makes that possible. I can select from YouTube, Google TV, HBO Max, Prime Video, etc. with the remote, and use it to select content and fast forward or rewind. The assignable side volume controls are also very convenient. All in all, I'd say this is a great value for what it does - and if you're using a previous generation of Chromecast, an upgrade could be worth it if you like having the option of a dedicated remote control.

Setting up the Chromecast was super simple and within a few minutes it was ready to go. The Chromecast if very user friendly, even my little ones quickly figured how to use it. With the Chromecast, you no longer have to switch between apps to find things you want to watch as everything is displayed right on your home screen. There are so many movies, TV shows and music on this device. The voice remote is also a game changer! I love that I no longer have to manually type things in to find a show or movie. The remote control also allows you to go directly to YouTube or Netflix with a simple push of a button. You can also turn on/off your TV and control the volume right from the remote. As a Mom with little ones, I also like that I can set parental controls and limit their TV time. This device has it all and we will be switching all our streaming devices to the Goggle Chromecast. If you are looking for a new streaming device, I highly recommend this one by Google.

It works perfectly even with our older model television. The onscreen interface is very intuitive to use and easy to search/find content. It was very easy to set up and the remote control is easy to o operate. The instructions take you step by step in programming the device to work with your tv. It’s super simple to set up, it basically does it all by itself after you sign in with your Google account or create a new one, just plug it into the HDMI port of your TV first and then follow the few simple steps and you are ready to use it. This little gem turns any older non-smart TV into a smart TV that gives you an easy to navigate main screen displaying all of my favorite streaming apps on one screen, I don’t have to search for the different apps on my phone or tablet anymore. I also really like the voice controlled remote, it definitely makes things much easier and quicker than having to type everything out. This is a wonderful device and excellent quality, it’s well thought out and just what I expected from Google! I would definitely highly recommend this to anyone! Will buy another for my children’s room. This is a great gift for the special people in your life, too!

You can search the play store through the device and install your favorite app. You can have the free movie and live tvs app and watch them for free. The signal management in this Chromecast is better then regular Chromecast and works smoothly.Remote will control your Chromecast and also can control your tv power button and volume buttons! It will hook into any TV that has a HDMI port ! Very easy and simple to setup , didn't take long at all! The voice control button is my favorite , I simply say hey Google play Mickey mouse on YouTube and it pulls it right up , my kids really love.this feature as well! Makes it easier for them to stream on their own ! I have to say this is the best streaming device out there ! Highly exceeded my expectations by far !

Works exactly as expected. And it even turns on my TV when the TV senses the Chromecast's signal into its HDMI port (may only work on certain models of TV though, I don't know).

This is the best product known to man to cast from your phone to your TV is absolutely amazing. It's easy to use and it works with all your Google products and your nest products. This is my third one that makes it to where all my TVs have one. it is absolutely amazing and I recommend it to anybody that wants to buy one or is even thinking about it
