[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am amazed by my Google Nest Hub and I’ve been kicking myself why I haven’t purchased this sooner! My son and I basically use it every day and we use it for a variety of uses from keeping track of my (albeit horrible) sleeping habits to learning about animals to managing our grocery list. Setting up the Hub was very easy. I am still able to use it to its full potential even though I don’t have an Android phone. All the apps I need are available for my iPhone and I really recommend checking the apps especially Google Home for remote access to your Google Nest Hub. Another thing that impresses me is the speaker in this machine. I thought the selling point was the accessibility of the screen but I was more than amazed when my son tried to play a video on it. The sound is loud and it has the right mix of treble and bass. It wasn’t even full volume but the sound quality is superb. Now it’s my go-to instead of playing my music thru my Bluetooth speakers. I also love the native lullabies and relaxing sounds my Hub and this has definitely been our sleeping buddy every since we got it. I can’t wait to integrate more smart devices into my Google Nest Hub and I definitely recommend this product for every tech-savvy home!

I connected the hub to my wi-fi at home and it's basically a small computer that you can use. My girls love to sit and watch YouTube or play music on Spotify. You can say, "Hey Google..." and request the Nest to preform a function for you, for example: play music, open YouTube and play xyz, ask the weather, get the question or animal of the day, ask Google fun facts, etc. You can call people through the Nest. I discovered that feature by accident when I asked my phone to call a friend. The Nest called friend as well as my phone. The opportunities with this device is endless. I really enjoy the diversity of the Nest. The Google Neat Hub will keep you entertained for hours. The cord is rather short, but does have a nice clasp that will contain the cord. Overall, I would definitely recommend a Nest for your home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google home hub is so easy to use and set up, I was able to plug in, complete set up and start using it within 10 minutes. I love using mine in my kitchen to leave notes, set up my calander with all my kids activities, play music, search recipes and set timers. There are so many more great features and I love that I can do everything from this one compact device.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being a huge fan of Google, I couldn't wait to set my very 1st Google nest hub 2nd generation! It was super easy to set up and connect via my android phone. Being a new mom for the 3rd time, I really wanted to improve my sleeping habits and place myself in better health especially with my baby turning 1 year old. The setup is a breeze. It learns where in bed you would be located so that it only detects you, as well as voice recognition which is a nice feature. I love how I can speak to it from a distance to play music or turn off screen for the night. You can create routines for morning and night or throughout the day. Maybe in the morning you like to get your news, weather, or have reminders for that day. My family and I love the extra features especially the games. My personal favorite is who wants to be a millionaire game. I just wish you could play it more than once a day and not have to pay additional amount for more rounds that day. Another thing I love about this Google nest is that it records breathing, snoring, and coughing throughout the night via microphone. I was able to set up my ideal wake up time and bedtime. In the morning, I am able too see the quality of sleep I received the night before which was pretty accurate. When I'm not using the display it shows the time or your Google photos/images. You may turn off the microphone in the back at any point and time. From one side, I like that a camera is not included and you don't feel like your being watched. On the other hand, it would be nice to have the camera so that I can video call my elderly mom and show her grandkids states away. Overall, the screen, picture and audio quality is incredible. Audio blew me away for such a small screen; I couldn't believe what amazing speaker this had. It's perfect to dance away with my munchkin to the beat of the music or rock him to sleep to a peaceful melody. One more con on this Google nest hub, when the baby does fall asleep at night or nap time. The commercials so often wake him up and disrupt his and my sleep. I wish there was a way to control that or minimize but this is mainly due to the different apps. The design is sleek, modern, and fabric casing is made from recycled bottles! There's still room for improvement but a great quality product I would recommend to my friends!

We have one in the kitchen and another on our patio. It provides easy control of lights, smart plugs, music as well as instant answers to our questions all in one central location. A great product for all ages.

I use it in my room to track my sleep patterns, control our thermostat and can even watch my favorite shows. There is so much that can be done from the hub, that I haven’t even try it all out. If you have smart devices or are looking to start getting them for your home, google is the way to go. They’re user friendly, and make life super simple!

I mean at first I was scared not knowing how to set it up, but honestly it was so easy. I just downloaded the Google Home App onto my iphone and followed the instructions from there on. Once setup I am excited owning a Google NEST HUB (2nd gen) because it does so much. I set it up with my voice recognition and I ask it to tell me the weather, or to find me the best restaurants around town, I even ask it to play music from my yahoo music, and oh my Lord, it does so much more! I LOVE IT!!!!

It is quick and smooth and responds well to my voice. I use it often to read out recipes or watch youtube while I cook. The display is high quality and clean. I can set alarms for cooking timer as well. Very useful and has made my life easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Google Hub. I use it mainly in my bed room as an alarm clock. I love that I can turn off the alarm with just my voice. I also have settings on it to read me news and weather after the alarm goes off. It is small cute size that looks great on my desk. The screen is high quality and can watch netflix or youtube. The audio is not loud enough tho, wished it had higher volumne. Ive synced it to my phone as well and it has nice features like reminders and notes I can save. Definitely recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I saw this nest hub I thought it was super cool and with quite a few smart products and google devices I thought it would be helpful to connecting all my device on one thing using an assistant while have a screen to not only see the commands I ask but to also see videos, what song is playing, the time and weather. For starters you do need to download the google home app to set up the hub, it also allows you to add your smart devices and contacts to the hub to use so make sure you have space on your phone for the app. Honestly this has work better than I anticipated, I honestly never really used the assistant on my phone but found using the google assistant to ask the weather to play things on my tv or on the display screen, find me specific songs to play has been really helpful. I found if you want a certain song it’s best to say specifically which service you want it play on for best results. The touch screen also is very user friendly it because everything is separate between home controls, media, communication, family, etc. so you can find what you need quick and easy if you don’t feel like using the assistant. You can also link various entertainment accounts (not just video but music as well) to make it easy to stream your content using your google assistant. I also am able to check my security camera and turn on my lights using the google assistant meaning I don’t have to pick up my phone to do it because a lot of phones you have to unlock the phone before it will do certain commands. You can also ask google for jokes, to find you recipes, start grocery lists, and set up calendars for you and it also had activities like riddles and madlibs if your bored, which my son has loved. I was also surprised that you can make phone calls, just make sure you use to google home app to add the contacts you want to use, and the calls do come in very clear but will show up on the person your calling as an unknown number. I also love you can personalize the screen saver with your own picture to make it like a picture frame when not in use and if you use the hub in your bedroom like I do you don’t have to worry about the lights of the screen keeping you up because the screen has a ambience light system where if it matching the lighting in your room and when all lights are off it just show a the time on a dim light so it would keep you awake but you can still read the time. I did have an issue where the hub went down and I had to do three system resets to get it back up after my first day using it but have since not have had that issue and it’s been running smoothly. Overall it’s a pretty cool device and I would highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already thought the Google Nest Hub was cool for the mere fact it can control my thermostat, but honestly this device would be great during parties. Google assistant is so entertaining and the Hub has a lot of neat features. When scrolling through the Hub after setting up, you'll find things like calming ocean sounds, the ability for Google assistant to give you a compliment, and even a section displaying the animal of the day, where Google will show you a picture of a random animal. The Nest Hub is not only convenient, but provides an array of entertainment. I like that I can not only link my home's smart features, but my streaming accounts as well. This device is just incredible. Setting it up is a bit of a process, but it's worth it in the end.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always wanted to try a google nest and I’m so glad I have one now. It has some of the best features including tracking noises you make in your sleep. You can watch Netflix and YouTube. I have my Spotify account connected and the only downside is at max volume the music cracks a lot and sound quality is terrible. From volume 9 and down it sounds great. The google nest will work for most things in your home including your thermostat. It was a very easy set up process and the app is user friendly as well. I find the price to be very reasonable for the amount of things you’re able to do on the nest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I noticed was how sleek this is right out of the box. It seems well designed with the speaker acting as the base of the monitor. Set up was fairly easy but make sure you set up in an area with a good wi-fi connection. It is easy to have it play music and ask questions but I also like it when it is in a more passive state. When at rest the nest hub can either show you own pictures, art, or a clock face. We currently have ours set to art and curated images so it is fun to see what artwork is being displayed when we pass by! The only thing I wish I could change was for it to continue to show the images after dark instead of the dim clock face. I also appreciate that you can set up "routines" within the home app so the hub is tweaked to your own specific needs either when you wake up or even when you get home from work. This is very handy to have around and is easy enough to operate that my non-techy parents can do most things.

I really like this device, it lets me set reminders up for myself, helps me by getting recipes to prepare my dinners, and can answer any kind of questions that I might have. This Google Nest Hub can even play a certain song that I might be in the mood for at any given time. I'm really happy with this product. I can put it in any room because it is a conveniently small device, and you don't have to worry about putting it together when you take it out of the box, because it only comes with the unit (has a 7 inch display), and a power cord. I really like that this device streams Netflix, it tells me how I'm sleeping, it's small and light weight. I would definitely recommend the Google Nest Hub.

Great product! Great value

Do not buy this if you plan on using it in a speaker group. Music will only play on the Nest Hub and not on the other speakers. This issue has been going on since 2022, https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Speakers-and-Displays/Nest-Hub-Max-no-longer-playing-audio-on-speaker-group/m-p/473612/page/6. Linked article has a ton of people trying the trouble shooting steps to no avail. Given the age of this issue it doesn't seem like it will ever be fixed.

It worked pretty well I enjoy it bjt sometimes the user interface doesn't make for easy navigation. Other than that it phenomenal

One works fine, however, the second one WILL NOT stop updating and restarting. Updating and restarting. Updating and restarting!!! It did it for an entire day before I gave up, 16 hours! I've reset it, started it in safe mode and reset it. Unplugged it, reset it, and reattempted. Nothing has worked and I’m done. It’s getting returned.

I have a number of Nest Minis in the house and the Nest Hub is a great addition to that network. It was easy to set up and works flawlessly. Very nice to have the built in display too.

Product is great but no one in store took much effort to find it I had to order online and return to the store 1-1/2 later to pick it up

I tried to connect it to the Google home app, but it will not work. Alexa setups are so easy. Google nest hub is crap!
