Easy installation, temperature control made easy.

The worked with my Lennox Furnace and AC. Its approx 19 years old. I wasn't aware you needed a special-order bracket if your wiring uses a standard electrical box. I was able to retrofit the existing Honeywell Lyric Round back plate so it worked out ok. Its hard to see but I attached it.

Easy to install and navigate. Definitely in improvement and a upgrade.

Well, on Christmas eve-eve, our older Nest thermostat decided to lose its brain and stop functioning. No big deal except it was -7° F outside! I went to Home Depot the next day (Christmas eve, thankfully they were open) and purchased the Google Nest thermostat. I was affordable and easy to install. My older setup had only 4 wires, but this thermostat, altough it worked, was complaining about low voltage and no "C" (common) wire. Luckily there were xtra conductors tucked in the wall box so I connected one of the extras to "C" both on the thermostat base and on the furnace controller. This fixed the voltage issue. I prefer the older model as it had a rotating ring to control, this has touch sensors on the right hand side that take a bit to get used to. This does not work with the Nest app, but instead works with the Google Home app. I find the app simple to use. I have not enabled the learning features, as I want to control my home temperature. Overall a great product!

Easy installation and very easy to use

A battery that needs replaced every 3 to 6 months is a NO GO... put a recharge in there for a few bucks..

Worked well for a month or 2 but then the system had the fan running constantly, wouldn't shut off even with the thermostat removed. I should have read the reviews before buying, this product has a ton of issues. I will be going back to a plain old thermostat.

So easy too install and works great

This is the dumb version of a Nest Thermostat that must be controlled via the Google Home app. Doesn’t allow you to activate via your Nest app if you preferred not to migrate. Returned and bought the $200 smart version…

Product fit perfectly on the nest we got and it covered the spot where we took out our old thermostat so no need to paint.

Sensors are awesome! They can be placed in any room near the thermostat and can then be assessed to monitor room temperature remotely.

Trim kit is a must have if you are purchasing the Google Nest Thermostat. This is the least cost Nest device. The more expensive model self learning model comes with the trim kit as part of the purchase.

Bought this product only to get home and realize it’s already been opened and installed before.

I got the box with no thermostat in it an they are telling me there nothing they can do. I spend thousand and thousands of dollars with them. And they said there nothing we can do for you,when we shipped it weight was corect. Nope no it wasnt bec i dont have a thermostart. Great job home dumpster you strike again.

I am not happy with this product! First of all, I did a curbside pickup order and package looked like it had been opened previously. I kept it couple days thinking I would return it and decided to install it anyways and I’ve been noticing the AC keeps running even though it’s reached its temperature. As if fan is on but thermostat is on auto. I’ve went through all the settings and keep having to turn it on and off manually ?

Couldn't get past the set up because it couldn't recognize wires. Mostly the c and g. Returned and bought a sensi lite. Had it installed and running in less than 20 minutes.

Very easy to install and use

I installed this at a vacation home and found a major flaw in this product, there is no way good to set this thermostat to hold a temperature. It only wants to keep the temp at 62*, it took some time but I "think" I've figured out a workaround by deleting all the schedules and have only one that sits at 55* all the time. I think I'll have to make schedules for when we are in the house and then delete them all again when we leave.

Keeps dropping the connection to WiFi, cannot control from phone, which was the hope point of this purchase. Disappointed to say the least.
