[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This play set is AMAZING! We’re still waiting on the scoop slide, which is entirely the shipping companies fault, but even without it, this set is incredible. I have two little boys and a ton of nieces and nephews and they have been playing on this non stop since it was done being assembled. The turbo slide is so much fun (my 2 year old asks me to go on it with him all the time), and even my 9 year old niece has been having a blast.

They don’t give him a forklift for delivery and they should. Also, included were about 100 pieces that did not go to this swing set and did not give directions for the extras. It was a pallet of wood. Lastly, definitely a 2 man 2 day job for set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After an exhaustive research on Playsets, my wife and I decided on the Gorilla Playset. After assembling the playset we are both in agreement that the quality of the design and materials were better than we expected. While the assembly instructions are clear, it would have been helpful to know that depending on the (build) step, wood and fasteners might come out of two different boxes. (the boxes contain groupings of the different stages of the playset). If you have the space to lay out all of the materials based on each step that would be very helpful. Otherwise if one person can assemble and the other pull the materials for the next step it will shorten the time to build. The building process itself was easy for anyone with a basic working knowledge of tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I'm very pleased with the product itself, to save money for this purchase I chose to put it together myself. Let me start with the delivery...the entire set was delivered on two extra long wooden pallets with some items being wrapped in shrink wrap. the entire shipment arrived very beat up making me think that there were many pieces of wood broken. after going through the boxes it was discovered that all of the wooden pieces were in good condition. Now as for the green plastic slides they were scratched in numerous places where they not protected very well. Now the instructions tell you to inspect everything giving you not much time to make the decision to refuse the shipment so I was under a lot of pressure from the onset. the wood as a whole smelled really good and looked good except for maybe 5-6 long pieces that were twisting. the roof pieces where also an area of concern as the tongue and groove did not line up due to some bad cuts and bent boards. The last thing I'll mention is the directions...which arrived in a stack of papers with one staple. "c'mon", you couldn't put this in a binder or folder considering it will be looked at over a hundred times. Also the matching of hardware with specific steps was really difficult. I was always wondering which hardware boxes went with each steps as the hardware in some boxes ran dry forcing me to use hardware from another box. "EXTREMELY CONFUSING" As a whole everything went well mostly because I'm very detailed, but I do which the product came with a one time starter sealant kit so that I have the recommended product right away... I really hope this play-set lasts with all the "TLC" I'll be required to give it every year. "But it's for my kids"

Pieces were missing, boards were bowed, and pre-drilled holes did not line up.My daughter does love it, but I cannot count how many hours were spent to assemble safely

Three grandsons loved the playset. Very sturdy. Went together well but beware, direction book may not be the newest version and some parts may have changed and the changes are not reflected in the direction booket that comes with it.

My kids absolutely love this play set, they have fun for hours!!

The instructions to put the 7 tube slide was confusing and I read aircraft blueprints daily. Just a suggestion but if you put arrows on the sides of each piece that lined up I believe it would make the setup easier."

Great play said, instructions are pretty easy to follow. Out of all the boxes and hardware and stuff I'm only missing two boards, so that's pretty good. Your customer service response time could be done.

I am a little surprised by the cedar. I thought it would be a little stronger. Also, I wish the set came sealed with a high grade weather protection on the wood out of the box.
