We bought this for our twin grandsons in Idaho. It shipped and delivered on time. Assembly was easy and straightforward. The kids love it.

My brother's twins are almost 4 and this is perfect for them. Looked at a lot of play sets where the desired options were add-ons. The wood is of decent quality- I expect the kids will outgrow this before it would wear out. In terms of assembly: There was just one hole that was misaligned and had to be re-drilled, and one anchor nut that consistently cross-threaded. The instructions are clear, and numbered, but there are some steps that should be re-ordered. For example, they tell you to attach the trapeze hangers AFTER you mount the bar to the fort, and attach the stringers under the deck and climbing wall AFTER everything else is done. We did end up with an extra piece of wood and two bags of hardware that were not used in our model.

Have had play set for a few weeks and my 4 year old loves it! My husband builds homes and it took him and a helper 4 hours to put together using instructions. Turtle sandbox fits perfect underneath! Seems like great quality and fun for all ages. Will redo review in a year!

Overall pretty good product. I do wish all of it was made in the USA for starters. Instructions were good, but could use improvement in the diagram area. Took us about 8 hrs in all and was relatively easy. Biggest problem with it was the 2x4 cross beam in which the ladder and slide are attached is showing to use only a couple deck screws to mount the 2x4 onto main frame. It is a major flaw...Fortunately it has a couple extra lag bolts that come with, so I drilled a couple holes on both ends of it and all is good! NOTE: when the directions tell you "it is very important to do something exactly as described" you need to listen! It comes with 4 swing set anchors, but they are nothing more than a tent stake, so you may have to invest in some better ones if its a concern. The entire unit is really stable and is perfect for those who don't have a ton of yard to work with!

Very Sturdy, took a few hours to put together but the instructions were good. My 3 year son loves it. Very good for the price. I looked into other sets and this one got very good reviews. It was easy to add a baby swing to the set for my 7 month old too.

Overall great play set. As soon as we set it up, to our surprise, our two year old was able to climb up the rock wall and slide down the slide. She loves it, cannot get her inside at the end of the day. Perfect for her size as she will be able to grow into it. Had to purchase a toddler swing since she is too little for the swings that come with it. Easy to set up with a second person to assist you. Make sure to have all the tools, especially the deep socket wrenches, or you will have to take a run to the store. I had not need for the vice grip pliers the directions say are mandatory. Also, make sure to have a couple of batteries charged for your cordless drill. It would have been a long day if we didn't have them. It took us 8hours to set up, which included a run to Home Depot in the middle. So give yourself a full day. Make sure to have help to accept delivery. It comes on a 12 foot pallet and the company that delivers will only drop off at the curb. It is very heavy. Took two people for small boxes and three for the heavy boxes to get in back yard.

We were able to assemble this Play Set in just 6 hours. Good directions and all the parts were there!

The features on this play set are terrific. The rock climbing wall is especialy fun for my grandson and now the trips to the park are less required. Exceptional product that I'm certain will bring many years of fun.

This playset took about 2 men 6 hours to assemble and the directions were easy to follow. The kids were so excited so the investment of time and money was worth it!

Great size for our backyard. Great quality. Product was easy to assemble with the help of the instruction booklet. (Assembly only took 1 day!) Our son loves the play set and will be able to enjoy for many years to come!

Good directions, took me three afternoons after work to build by myself. Alot of parts, best advice is lay all pieces out and get everthing in order before starting anything. All around a great unit. Hope it stands up to the 10 year warranty it comes with.

I purchased the Outing III playset for my 2 year old daughter in summer of 2011. Initially we were pleased with the quality and the playset was easy to assemble with 2 people. However after 1 really mild winter in Wisconsin I have several complaints about the durability of this playset. The tarp cover for the fort area shredded itself when the rear support board gave way. Second, a swing cracked in half when swinging during the winter. Finally the finish on the boards is peeling and cracking off revealing the bare untreated wood. This play set may be OK for milder climates but I wouldn't buy one for anywhere that the temperature drops below zero. I wish I would have spent the extra money on a Rainbow Play Set.

The instructions were easy to follow and all materials were quality. Assembled in less than 5 hours with three people working (we sorted and labeled parts the night before). Pleased with the finished product! My 20-month old son tried out the slide, swing (we used a toddler swing not w/ set), steering wheel and sandbox immediately. (My niece and nephew, ages 9 & 11, tried out all the activities and loved them as well.) Cannot yet comment on durability as it's been assembled for 1 hour now!

This was by far one of the easiest projects I have ever done. I put it together mostly myself with help from my two older children on a few steps. It only took me about six hours. I did seperate the kit into steps before I began the day before which took about 45 min. It was definatly worth it. I am very pleased with the quality of this product. The kids loved helping and now they are enjoying playing on it. Thanks to everyone who left accurate detailed reviews for us. I hope this one was helpful.

Was pretty easy to follow directions. Only issue I found was when we put ladder together and connected the top two bolts to keep it attached to playset one of the planks split. Not sure how long will last. That is where kids climb to get inside fort so would be used a lot

Excellent playset for a reasonable price. The pictorial instructions were easy to follow. There are a lot of pieces, but each piece is numbered and lettered. I recommend unboxing all the pierces, laying them out, grouping the pieces together according to the part numbers, and then arranging the parts alphabetically. This helped to locate the needed parts. It took 3 adults about 7.5 hours to assemble the play set excluding the accessories (steering wheel, tarp, swings, slide, etc). Installing the accessories took about 1 hour. All the predrilled holes lined up with any issues. Very happy with the purchase.

Quality product. Went up easily. Two men and 5 1/2 hours. Grandson loves it!

It’s a good swing set especially for the price. If you don’t have general carpentry skills you may want to hire someone to assemble it.

Easy to assemble by yourself. Light building material. The The wood split while using the T washers and drilling in screws whether it was pre drilled or not. Tightened down to where t washers were flush against the surface and the screw heads were level with the surface.Probably unavoidable. The kid loves it so that’s all that matters.

Play set is sturdy and exactly as it was pictured online. It is made of good materials and seems to be the quality I was looking for as opposed to the quality of most other play sets I researched. The assembly was fast and the installer was able to put it together in 4 hours. Overall very pleased with the purchase and experience.

After looking at many different playsets, reviews and manufacturer recommendations, I decided to go with Gorilla and I am glad I did. This is a high quality product. The assembly directions and illustrations were excellent. All the parts were well packaged and code stamped and there was plenty of extra hardware to get the job done. It came together perfectly because of the quality and precision of Gorilla's design. It is a beautiful playset and my granddaughter absolutely loves it.

The playset is wonderful EXCEPT, The monkey bars go "no where". They start and then end into the side of the play house into wooden slats.

We picked up and took everything off the pallet, I had a long bed truck and for a regular or short bed beware one box is 8ft long and with the slide it may be a challenge to fit in your truck. Super easy to put together, I did it in two half days with help from by wife. We like the material although it's pretty soft wood so don't overtighten the T-nuts and washers, no issues with the stain yet. We were missing a couple of bolts but I grabbed them from a local hardware store no problem. Its super sturdy when fully assembled. Only complaint is the swing set up, not enough room for three kids to be next to each other without bumping, would recommend something longer and I'm going to DIY something to improve that situation. We did quite a bit of price shopping and found this unit from HD to be less expensive and very similar to those from other sellers. Overall it's a been a real big hit for our family and I've recommended Gorilla to other friends already! Very well packaged with every board and bag labeled, super smooth directions to follow step by step, easy set up, quality material, nice accessories and so far it's been loads of fun.

This product is not made of “wood”. It’s made of some other material that makes it extremely light. Not sure it will last long. I was expecting a more sturdy/heavy product. All pieces are from China as well and I had read on their website it was made in the USA.
