Great for keeping water out of wire nut connections, easy to install. I do wish they made it dark UV protected style. Have been using them for several years.

Their fine for 18-24 ga wire. I had a couple of 14 ga that were a very tight fit for the wire nuts. larger nuts did not fit in the wax tubes. If you remain within the product parameters, these are great.

The orange caps came right off the wires. We will have to return it

If you have 4 wires in the wire nut it is a bit hard to close

Not too much leakage when pushing the wire nut into the grease cap. Cap closes very securely with sufficient room for low voltage wire. Easy to use, secure, not messy.

The package is 25 pcs contained, good enough for the 6 sprinklers unit replacement.

They're grease caps. They work fine.

Simple to use. Time will tell how well they keep water out. Plenty of grease so I think they will do fine for splicing. I put them in an valve box instead of direct buried.

I thought these would be similar to the 3M DBY or DBR, not at all. Main problem is they will not snap close once you try and close it. Save your money and buy the 3M versions, they work much better.

I learned from the internet to waterproof your electrical connections when repairing your sprinkler system and that there are two ways to do this - special wire nuts that seal out the elements or grease filled caps that go over a standard wire nut. I elected to go with the latter. The grease caps are much larger than the wire nut, so make sure you have room to work with them. No problem for my repair - it wasn't in a confined space. Easy to use. Effective to keep out the elements.
