Good product and easy to blow in. The only issue we had was the free HD blower as it was extremely slow. We averaged about 3.5 bags per hour with the gate wide open. No plugs the entire time, but 47 bags took us 13ish hours to blow in.

Purchased 72 bags for 1600 sq ft. Installed really well. Added an 8 foot rigid extension to flex hose that came with blower. That allowed me to blow into the eaves from the center of the attic. House is much more evenly heated and cooled now. And much quieter.

Great product! I used two pallets to bring my 1,500 sq. ft. attic from R-19 to approx. R-50~55. I had trouble with the machine- definitely don't use the Greenfiber branded machine; it's just not powerful enough. Go to a local tool rental and rent a real one. My house is so much warmer after doing this, and I've been able to turn off two of my three heating units. Awesome.

Good coverage

Took my brother and I 2 hours to insulate 1200 sqft of attic space. The material is easy to work with, minimal dust. The free machine rental at homedepot was great too.

The insulation delivery and product were fine, it will take some time to tell if it decreases my electric bill. If you opt for the free blower that comes with buying a certain amount please keep in mind it comes with 1 - 50' hose, if you need more hose that will fit you will have to find that on your own. You cannot return unused bags of insulation when ordered by the pallet online.

It's a substantially better deal than buying the individual bags at HD and is a better product than the bags they sell in the store. The only gripe I have with this is that the total coverage was not as much as was promised by green fibers coverage guide.

I've manufactured or installed over 500 tons of cellulose in my life.This pallet was the worst quality I've ever seen.Cellulose is supposed to be newsprint and borates only. Included was tissue paper, glossy white paper and enough plastic to clog the blower twice.I won't buy it again, ever!!!

Great stuff! Delivery to my house was nice, as I just had to go to THD to pick up the rental machine to blow it in. Make sure your hose doesn't have any 'tight' bends -- that'll slow you down, and set the gate at between 50-75% open. House is very warm, and house centipedes are gone!

Provided superb coverage of my entire attic. Delivery was very quick as well.

Contractor blew in cellulose insulation in attic and crawl spaces and noticed the house is warmer especially the second floor. Whole house seems warmer. Product works very well.

I bought a pallet of this, and 30 bags of: INS541LD https://www.homedepot.com/p/GreenFiber-Low-Dust-Cellulose-Blown-In-Insulation-19-lbs-INS541LD/100318635. I didn't think I would need to pallets and wanted to be able to return any of the rest I wouldn't use. In hind sight I wish I bought 2 pallets of this. This product is superior in that it produces much much less dust, and does not include any plastic trash (that I noticed). It covers very evenly and works great. I would use this again in a heart beat if I bought another house. A respirator mask is a must while installing. If you do DIY projects frequently you should own a $40 respirator, trust me, its one of the best things you can by for your health.

Typical cellulose insulation installation, dusty and messy, happy when it's done and cleaned up. Only issue was the coverage area based on the chart calculations. Took approximately 33% more insulation to get correct coverage than chart showed. I added about 10% but didn't expect 33%. Need to figure that into your calculations.

Fpl bills don’t lie daily usage went from 5 to 6$ a day to 2to3$ a day it’s been 3 days of saving and already saved 10$ on fpl plus I got 36 30lbs bags for 310$ Adding loose-fill insulation to your attic is one of the fastest paybacks of any home improvement project. The amount of money you save on energy costs will add up quickly over the next couple of years, more than paying for itself, and even bringing a return on your investmemT. I use to keep it on 76 now 74 and it holds temp easy and hardly runs it’s a win win it’s colder and cheaper.

Loyal HD customer here. Love the store and most experiences. Bought this insulation on a pallet and had delivered to my home. My order was 6 bags short. This was a row of insulation that was missing from the pallet. Didn't realize until after install when I came up short on the job. Also pallet was delivered with bags that had been torn open at some point during shipping. What can home depot do to remedy this issue? Blow in with machine went well and product seems fine. Just bummed I was shorted and was unable to complete job.

Easy to apply to existing insulation and has helped insulate and keep home quieter. Great
