Like the other reviewers commented, these strip out AT LEAST 50% of the time. The T-20 star head cannot handle any torque. I even drilled pilot holes, still stripped out. Some I was able to finish in, or back out, with a hex bit, but had to take out a bunch with vice grips. These are junk! Do yourself a favor and avoid!

Maybe I had the wrong drill bit. Stripped every screw and quit using them.

The screws counter sunk in the railing with out mushroom up

Used for pressure treated cedar fencing rails/slats, IMHO much superior to conventional Phillips head fasteners for this application.

The screws are fine but the included drill bit is absolute garbage; it wears out before you can finish driving all the screws in the box.

After pre drilling they went in much better!

Superb for keeping trex in place.

They work very well and really grab the boards to the joist! I predrill in order to keep the wood and Treks from splitting and that really helps. The only negative about them is the bit supplied does not last. Thankfully I have my own. Great price too!

Horrible screws. The teeth in the head of the screw are too shallow and strip out quickly as does the T-20 bit. I will never buy this product again.

Be prepared to buy extra drill bits. These really tear up drill bits. Bad design in my opinion.

Color was a perfect match. The name says it all grip-rite. Almost invisible. Time will tell.

The driver bit that came with the screws stripped out really quickly. It must be made of soft metal.

Work perfect with my composite deck. The color matches my deck do you hardly notice the screw at the borders
