Work well with composite decking. Pre-drilling increased ease of installation and screw pattern design. Minimal problem with head stripping like other brands. Used exclusively on two 400 sqft decks. Recommend, but buy in largest bulk quantity anticipated needed to save on cost.

These screws are strong but I stripped 5+ drill bits getting them in. They even came with a drill bit and had a blurb about how won’t strip bits on the outside of the container. It’s not my first rodeo and I’m confused why I ran thru so many bits. If you do buy these grab a few extra bits, too.

Very useful and installed very nice. The head shown is a square, but the heads on the screws were star shaped. Had to find bits because there wasn't any in the box. Was suppose to have one but maybe someone took it out. Product worked and looks great.

These are not Square drive torques! They are the worthless star torque drive!
I ordered from 2 separate stores in Colorado and these are not square torque! The square drive screws are great. These are star drive torques and they are worthless. They strip out with the slightest bit of torque even with brand new bits. They seem to have switched everything to star drive to sell more screws because the star screws strip out on insertion. Completely unsatisfied and disgusted.

Square drive screws are the best
Cam out or stripping is not possible. Not sure why these type are getting harder to find.

      Deck screw
The only suggestion I have to the manufacture is to include better made bits for these screws. The bit has a tendency to start to skip after about 50+ screws and once this happens the bit is worthless and will not drive the crews all the way even to the surface. I purchased extra T20 bits that were made of a better material and these lasted much longer. I loved the way these screws work however in that if there is any warpage in the board, I do not believe I have ever received a true straight board, it pulls it in tight without pulling the screw head deep into the boards surface. Traditional deck screws will not do this and it is great. I would have given this product a 5 had there been more screw bits that lasted longer.

      Not an issue
Used the entire 378 screws with no issue. I was redoing a 12X12 deck top using the Veranda composite decking. With the 20V Dewalt impact driver and the provided star bit I drove these screws in to the decking and support beams below easy. FYI I pre drilled all holes as Veranda instructed. I never got a single stripped or snapped screw or any other problem. Great product.
