Beautiful Solid Wood Option
These cabinets have solid wood doors and faceframes and are very beautiful. We chose solid butcherblock countertops for complete harmony. We also used the all-in-one sink/faucet/drain assembly with grid. We used 2 coats of stain 2 coats of poly for finish and protection.

Sturdy and beautiful
I was looking for a bargain laminate countertop. Only ugly ones in stock. Then I spot the Hardwood Reflections birch. It's stunning. Very heavy. I'm so glad I went for it. It's affordable and super durable.

I was very excited to stumble upon this! Bought the...
I was very excited to stumble upon this! Bought the oil for it as well. I’ve only had it for about 3 weeks and there’s a sliver taken out of it. I don’t know why all of a sudden it seems like it’s pealing. I’ve tried to contact to the store via phone and keep getting disconnected. I’ve already glued the top down to create an island so I can’t necessarily return/exchange it. I don’t know how to fix it.

Easy to cut to size
Perfect laundry cabinet top. Had to cut to fit standard cabinet for my laundry room. Sanded and put 3 coats polyurethane to give shine and it’s perfect!

looks good.
It was a bit of work finishing it but looks good when done. I used a sanding sealer instead of conditioner for prep after sanding. Staining end grain is a hit or miss sometimes so I mixed equal parts stain and wipe on poly, I don't recommend polyshades for any thing, and rubbed it into the end grain. I used 3 coats of Varathane water based poly and after several days applied furniture paste was with 0000 steal wool to seal out moisture. On counter tops that get more use I would use oil based poly.

Nothing but cracks, holes and gashes.
I would not recommend this product. Though it seems to be a solid heavy piece of birch. The "backside" has tons of issues as you can see in photos. I used putty to fill all the gaps and cracks before I used a stain and sealent, But I am still worried that this is going to fall apart at some point. I wish I did not waste $200 on this. But it was too heavy to return to ups.. So I am stuck with it unfortunately.

Counter top cupped after a month
Started out fine. Sealed all 4 sides, used in kitchen as a prep area for cooking. Within 4 weeks it cupped about an 1/8 of an inch and is now no longer flat. Disappointing but maybe that's the way things are with Home Depot quality. Don't buy it

Discoloration when finished
We loved this butcher block and finished it as per instructions. However, after staining and upon polyurethaning it, the surface became riddled with white splotches. A chemical reaction that destroyed the finish? Beyond disappointed

Put this over my washer/dryer and lucky enough that it fix the space exactly. It's gorgeous, thick, heavy and gave new life to my old beat-up washer/dryer. Note that you MUST finish the piece with a day or so of taking off the plastic. I wasn't prepared for that, so had to run out quickly to get stain and do it on a work night instead of waiting until Saturday when I had more time.

Beautiful material for an indoor bench
Created an indoor bench "hearth" with the birch. The "good" side had a couple of slits of pith I needed to clean out and fill, but still looked great. Sanded through 320 grit. Many coats of DIY wiping poly applied, and it's beautiful.

Great product, Great Price
I looked at this butcher block at another box hardware store and it was $150 more than Home Depot. The quality of this block was amazing. It sanded well, stained and varnished and looks great. We are using it as a coffee bar at our church.
I would highly recommend.

Not Solid Wood
Unfortunately, this company’s YT videos are misleading. I selected the best looking slab available at the store, from about 12. Once opened at home, it was upsetting to see the poor quality. It is not all solid-wood butcher block.
