8mm not 10mm socket
Love this fold down work table. I got it to assist with my home office which is located in my bedroom. The only issue I had was that the instructions called for 10mm socket when the screws I was sent were actually 8mm. Had to make an extra run to the hardware store.

Bought 2, 1 good, 1 not
I bought two of these to install side by side. Only one came with instructions (which looked like it was several generations in on a black and white copier). The problem unit won’t fold flush like the other one, it seems like something is just slightly warped preventing it from folding properly. If both functioned like the good unit and had come with better quality instructions in both boxes I would probably be giving this five stars.

Good thought in the review. I could probably make better instructions. The wood top is UV finished and we have been selling this for years with super low defects....we may have screwed this up. That being said sometimes the bracket "pinches" is the brackets are not completely level.

Poor quality hardware
I was attempting to install the first bracket with the #10 lag bolt. As I was almost finished, the head snapped off, leaving the bolt deep in the stud and unretrievable. I was using minimal torque with my socket wrench, turning it slowly. Moreover, the 10mm socket was loose on the head. I guess there is one extra bolt, as it only requires six and there are seven included. But I am afraid to risk another shear. I guess I will be buying new stronger lag bolts

We bought this 4 ft. folding workbench to use as a payment counter in our city hall. It was easy to install. We have only had it for a couple of weeks, but so far, it has held up well. It looks great. We wanted something that could be folded down during our off hours, as our building is used for other activities. Overall, we are very pleased with this product.

Great Quality Desk!
We got two of these for our kids bedrooms so they have desks. They are grea quality and easy to install. Very sturdy and love that it folds away and isnt taking up space in their room. Highly recommend these!
