Good piece of wood. I made a desktop out if it.

Worked out great for a new top on our kitchen island. Looks beautiful with just a couple coats of mineral oil. I wish I would have hit it with some 220 before finishing, but that’s my mistake. My only complaint about the product is there was a little more wood filler than I would like to have. One side had a few spots with filler, giving me only one option for the top side.

Seems well made and a great value. Arrived well packaged and in good condition. Only needs a light sand before finishing. Stained and sealed it right away. It would look great with no stain and just poly as well. I tested a scrap piece with just poly the clear coat deepens the color and grain beautifully.

We haven’t installed yet but it was wrapped nicely when picked up at store. Looks as good as the description.

Not what I thought wasn’t natural more artificially

It was exactly as described. Packaged well, no imperfections. Only issue was the delivery took 8 days longer than promised and the contracted company didn’t care that the product had been there 12 days already.

Started splitting after 3 days off acclimating.

The wood looks great but, I didn't notice it had a crack lengthwise until after we cut it.

Product quality is outstanding. Really like the wood grain. Look like you're one with nature.

Comes well packaged and sanded almost well enough to finish without any prep. This is a "one good side" product, and the good side will be VERY apparent lol...

Beautiful slab! Color variation minimal with a few exceptions, leading to the light palette we were looking for. Top was perfect, bottom had some moderate fill areas where a taupe putty was used that isn’t a particularly good match. We made shelves with some of the leftover material, but we’re able to find areas where the underside was still quite pretty. Finish was excellent and only required a light sand with 440 grit prior to varnish. Will probably buy more of this for other projects.

Great Butcherblock Countertop

Excellent. Product as advertised, well packaged, no flaws, useful instructions.

I wanted to like this butcher block, I really did. Reasonable in price and initially attractive. Prior to purchase, I read through the reviews and they appeared to be a mixed bag; some were pleased with their purchase and some had issues of splitting and warping. I thought I'd give the product a try and hoped for the best. I noted with great detail the instructions that were given for treating the piece once the manufacturer wrapping was removed and I followed those instructions meticulously. I placed the butcher block directly on top of an already existing peninsula, there were no screws or adhesives used. Within two days of placement the piece began to split on both ends and within three days warped so badly that it rose a solid 1/2 inch above the peninsula surface. Totally unusable and very disappointed. Piece is being returned this week.

It’s great, we really like it! Adds more character to our kitchen!
