have about 5 of these first one that had black substance on the feet. Have tried to see about buying more legs with no response. They are a very Sturdy shelf unit

This is a solid shelf, easy to assemble. It is sturdy enough for most miscellaneous supplies, household goods, etc. I did read reviews of people who had trouble assembling the posts/shelves, where there was excess plastic existed. I had this issue too, but used a soft mallet to gently tap each post into place. This seemed to do the trick, especially where the post didn't align immediately. It required a little more effort on some, but worth it in the end.

Easy to assemble and the parts that were manufactured properly are great, but I have one shelf that is completely unusable due to being manufactured badly. No amount of filing would make this shelf work in this unit.

The shelving was easy to put together. And it was very stable and level once assembled. However, the product lacked quality control. The finishing on the sides of the shelves were horrible (see attached photo). There were bits of plastic hanging off the pieces which remained from the manufacturing process. Also, even though it came wrapped in plastic, the shelves were filthy (see attached photo). For the money I paid, I expected more.

Once assembled I am happy with the quality of the shelves. However make sure you own a file of some type to smooth off all the excess plastic so that you can assemble them.

This showed up with all kinds of sharp unfinished edges. The manufacturing is among some of the worst I've seen. We returned it. It was dangerous. We would surely cut ourselves on the edges of this item

Loved it. Helped me out a lot! I need it something to organize my things for my cakes and this did the trick and it is great.

Posts and shelves contained significant amounts of plastic "burs" that needed to be shaved down. Some were cosmetic, but some also interfered with assembly. I bought the same model a couple of years earlier, with fewer of these issues. It seems like since that time, the manufacturer is trying to maximize profits by reducing the quality, at least making the customer "finish" the product. This despite the shelves costing $30 (50%) more now than on the those previous purchases. Has to make me wonder, where else did they skimp on the shelves? Oh, and one of the shelves is cracked and I'm contacting the manufacturer for replacement. We'll see how that goes. If you need to use the shelves at their weight rating, I would not trust them and recommend looking at other options. (Particularly since the price now is closer now to other better-built options). If you do proceed, have a utility knife or similar to help clean up the plastic burs.

Easy to assemble and exactly what I needed for when I purchase my buy one, get one items. Time to stock up again and now I’m ready!

The shelves are easy to put together and hold up pretty well. However, we have 150 pounds on each 3 of the shelves. It is supposed to hold 200 pounds per shelf. We have 3 5 gallon water containers, made of cardboard and mylar. I think it would be okay for 10 gallons, however, that is still only 100 pounds per shelf. I’m disappointed that they are not holding the 200 pounds they are rated. We have a total of 5 of these shelving units. The other 4 are not bowing. However, the other 4 don’t have the weight capacity in them.

I bought this product for my lanai. It is perfect for holding all of my outdoor pool floats and towels.

I like others have found some of the holes misaligned. A few moments with a rat-tail file or my Dremel tool and it took care of the situation. I have 10 of these units in my basement and shop and plan to buy two more. Some of the shelves of the units have a slight sage after about 7 years and moderate loads. Nothing close to a failure point and only noticeable when sighting down the row of units.

Easy to assemble. I purchased 3 and taking it real slow; about 2 hours to put all together. Some of the poles, it takes a little work to get them to slide into the holes. That is what takes the extra time. If not for that, each unit could be assembled in 15 minutes I found that twisting into the hole and then a good push on the shelf works best, if that pole doesn't want to fit. I did not use a hammer. I saw that a couple of the shelves were a little askew from shipping. I just pushed on the black edge and they snapped in Check on this, this could be the reason why a pole won't fit. There was some excess plastic; I either just pulled it off, used a pliers to twist it off, or used a utility knife to cut it off.

Exacty what i needed in my garage for my stuff. I bout three of them. Love it, very easy to assemble and very light weight.

We converted a "closet" in the kitchen that used to have the water heater (weird) into a sort of pantry but it wasn't used as such yet because it's not a finished room (no drywall). We needed a quick shelving system that can be taken down quickly whenever we decide to get a real pantry there. So this one did the trick. I gave it 4 stars because some of the shelves are not completely flat but have a small bow in them that makes it look like there are a lot of heavy items causing it to bow, but it was like that when we put it together. You can see it in the picture. We put some pots and pans at the bottom and some food items on the top. For what it is, it works for us.

Each shelf had to be cleanded of flashing. Also spurs on the flat side of the shelf. Very disappointd

These shelves had so much excess plastic from the molds. I expected to have a little, but there was a big blob of extra plastic right in the middle of each shelf. I had to trim it away with a razor blade. There was no way to see that from how they were packaged. Once I got them home I didn't want to make a trip back to the store to exchange them. I wouldn't buy these again if they have the same issue with quality control.

I have about 16 of these shelving units, most of which I bought recently to store new inventory and create more workspace for my business. They are reasonably priced, lightweight, and mostly easy to assemble. As others have pointed out, sometimes the shelves and legs don't always fit. I have frequently used a box cutter or crafting knife to trim excess plastic and sometimes had to squeeze corners of the shelves to make the legs go through. I've only had a couple of shelves that just wouldn't work at all. I mostly assemble them as 3-shelf units, having them function as 2-tier workbenches. This required ordering extra sets of feet and caps. There's an insert included with the unit that has the website and contact info for the parts supplier. You can also get replacement shelves and legs. Website is a bit clunky but serviceable. The only thing that's missing is wheels. I really wish these units came with caster wheels, but as a temporary workaround, I have some of them on top of floor dollies, which works out fine. In the Q/A section of this product listing, other customers have described very creative ways of permanently attaching wheels to the units, and I will give those a try at some point. In the meantime, I will either buy 2’ x 3’ floor dollies or get 2’ x 3’ heavy duty wood to put on top of the floor dollies I already have. For the 3-shelf units that function as workbenches, I put either several sheets of kraft paper or a piece of foam core board on top them to make them smooth and sturdy. That's another addition that would make this product even better - a smooth shelf liner, which I know can be purchased elsewhere, but still. You get my point.

These shelves seem great, but the holes for the legs don’t match up- there is a bit of the plastic tubing inside the shelf that is out of whack. So you can’t actually put them together! Waste of money. As you can see in the picture, the black plastic that will hold the leg is misaligned.

This is an excellent cost effective sturdy storage solution.

Bought 3 sets so far, using for garage storage as well as fabric storage in a quilt studio. Sturdy and easy to assemble. Took me 10 minutes to put shelves up with no assistance needed.

I bought two of these shelves. They are extremely easy to assemble and reasonably sturdy. What I don't like about them is the way the product was produced. There are hanging bits of thin plastic attached to the poles and shelving which isn't very neat. If you are using them in a garage, it really doesn't matter. I used one as shelving in my linen closet and the other one for my craft room. The one in my linen closet sways slightly if I lean on it, but it's in an enclosed area, so I don't really mind that fact. I'm not sure I would use these shelving to hold very heavy tools and/or bins. I do like the depth of the shelves.

I bought 4 of these and every one had an issue. There are a lot of plastic tags to the point that you cannot fit them together, or remove the tags. 2 shelves were totally unusable. I had to mix and match to get three sets, one will be returned. They do not snap together easily. There are plastic bumps all over them, so laying items flat would be difficult. I would not buy again.

We ordered online and picked up in store only to get it home and find out it is dirty, used, and not in any of its original packaging or have any of the documentation.

Very easy to assemble. Took less than 10 mins. My only complaint is that a couple of the corners where the poles insert cracked as I inserted the poles to assemble. It doesn’t seem to have structurally compromised the area of the shelf at all, so it’s not worth taking it all apart and returning. It seems fairly sturdy and I like how wide the shelves are. I recommend lightly hammering over each corner to make sure the poles are inserted correctly.

I made 2 units out of my shelf. Each unit is 24 deep, by 36 wide, by 30 high. I have the floor, 2 shelves, and the top, or 4 levels of storage per unit or 8 units of storage in all.

There was a lot of extra work to use an Xacto knife to clean away all the plastic flashings left behind by the mold. I've built a lot of these shelves in the past and these took me 2 hours extra because the left over plastic wouldn't allow assembly. Should have returned them but they were the last 2 packages.
