I’ve had these shelves for about four months. These shelves were very easy to assemble. I used two of them side by side to stock up a kitchen pantry. They are very sturdy, I have them loaded with canned goods, etc. I have used these same type of shelves in the garage.

Absolute crap. Opened the package and found some of the plastic was already broken. It's pretty thin in places. I have similar shelves that are still in great shape over 10 years later. But, quality has gone way down! The poles do not fit in some of the holes. As I write this I'm debating whether to get out my dremel and file down the warped plastic hole openings or lug these pieces of junk back to the store. Definitely do not recommend.

I bought 4 of these Garage Storage shelves and had to return all of them. Every single one of them had manufacturing flaws in the plastic molding. See photos. Several of the shelves were wavy. And, there was so much leaked hardened plastic that the legs and poles could not fit into each other. I tried cutting off the leaked plastic, but that still didn't work, because the shelving holes where the poles go into were crooked. There are two pieces of plastic that make up each shelf, probably for stability, but the "inside" plastic did not match up with the "outside" plastic, so none of the poles could fit correctly. I got halfway through building it and it was completely crooked. I wasted so much time trying to get these to work -- DO NOT BUY THESE. There is no making them work. Clearly there is no quality control at the factory, as these were 4 separate shelves, and all of them were like this. COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED.

Specs say 200 pounds per shelf capacity. That is way off. I have far less than than on the top shelf, and just a week after installation is it very visibly sagging in the middle. It looks terrible. Unless you are storing stuffed animals or balloons, buy some other product.

I bought these because I needed to store a lot of the HDX bins. I realized thought that I needed different tiers, a 2 shelf tier, 3 shelf tier, 4 shelf tier and didn't have the feet. I found some extra caps and feet on Ebay. I have both the wide and slim versions and they work great. I did look into ordering the parts, but that was confusing.

Heavy Duty. And BIG... I actually thought i was ordering the 24in deep set. Made a mistake. But now glad i did. Works great for my fall stocking of groceries for the upcoming winter. Using all uprights, it would have been too tall at 6 foot to place and see stuff. So I shortened the upper set. Great Price. Now filled with half of my emergency supplies in spare bed room.

I bought a couple of these last year and they worked well. Yesterday putting them together was a challenge because some holes still had plastic in them. After clearing the excess plastic, the assembly wasn’t bad.

Shelf is as described, and quite sturdy (I've bought several of these in both the 18" and 24" sizes). Fairly easy to assemble, but note that a rubber mallet may come in handy when installing each shelf onto the vertical supports. Although minor, I have had issues with assembly for two reasons: (1) sometimes the vertical supports (and the shelf holes themselves) still have bits of plastic protruding from the outside surface as a result of the extrusion process, which may interfere with assembly -- I just used a utility knife to shave them off; and (2) sometimes the black-coloured inserts within the self holes are misaligned with the grey cutouts of the holes -- you then can't insert the vertical supports in that case. I had to use my hands to physically 'move' the inserts in one direction or another to get them to align with the cutouts -- then the supports installed easily. Although I haven't tested of maximum capacity of this 24" version (at 200lbs per shelf), I have my doubts about this -- the shelves will likely bow before this point.

I have two of these. One I had assembled by a guy no issues. We moved it and I assembled it back together not the easiest thing but it was done just fine. I recently needed another one so I bought it. This one is made so bad I can’t get the rods into the shelf and I think I just broke my hand trying to assemble it. I think I have to get some sandpaper to end up getting this stupid thing assembled. My hand hurts so bad right now. I highly do not recommend this product.

Holds a lot of weight. The tubes don’t align perfectly because it’s cheap, poorly built material. It hasn’t affected anything though.

Extremely cheaply made--so much so that it was nearly impossible to put together. The holes on the shelf were poorly lined up and covered with excess plastic that didn't come off during production, so fitting them together required at least an hour of trimming with a utility knife. One of the feet was partially melted so it doesn't fit as snug as it should, and the whole thing wobbles.

It was easy to assemble. Needed a little muscle to put in place. Very sturdy! I have so much stuff on shelves. It can take a lot if weight!

Very sturdy and nice looking

Easy assembly. I’m using in my laundry room for linens, and it is perfect.

Hard to assemble due to plastic inserts were really tight to fit into the holes.

First of all, I really like these shelving units... BUT, as others have mentioned, there are plastic bits that stop the poles from sliding into the shelves easily, so you need tools. First of all, a Dremel or something similar and then a mallet to make sure the shelves slide all the way down. I would also recommend gloves and goggles for any flying plastic bits. Be careful when you pound the shelves down, a towel would be helpful to make sure you don't break anything. I wouldn't say they're pretty enough for inside your house, but for a potentially damp basement, where metal shelving might rust, they're pretty good.

Needed this shelving unit for some garage space. Ideal for stacking up light to medium weight boxes ans buckets. Great pricepoint and fairly sturdy. Would work great in garage or basement settings. Easy to assemble and put together

This is a poorly made product which makes it difficult to put together. I have been fighting with it for an hour and have not gotten anywhere. I am returning this product and buying a different brand. Not an errand I really have time for but I need to get a room organized.

This product is very sturdy and it holds up to its claim. I am looking forward to buy more of this item.

I am definitely not handy with anything but I put this together from start to finish in less than 10 minutes!! It is great quality and has really helped me get my storage closet organized. The shelves and the whole unit is very sturdy! Thanks to manufacturer for making this so easy!

Very economical storage solution

Lightweight yet sturdy. Did not come with feet or top caps. Emailed to order then cancelled realizing it would be more sturdy without feet and can't see top shelf anyway. This and the 4 shelf units were exactly what I needed. Made them a 5 and a 3. Ordered online with curbside pick up. Ready in an hour!

Better then what I expected. Plenty of space and super sturdy an amazing buy for the price!

Very short and almost effortless assembly, and then a very strong structure results. We just put everything we had in a 10"x5" storage into a 5"x5" thanks to this product.

Excellent product

The shelves were not possible to assemble. The holes in the shelves were not aligned properly. The plastic rods were defective and too short to assemble the shelf. Quality was extremely poor. I did order replacement parts which have not arrived yet. This would have been my 7th and 8th set of similar shelves. Normally, I can put a set of these shelves together in 5 minutes. I spent half an hour trying to get these together and they still aren't done because of the defective parts. I have not even opened the other set of shelves yet as I am thinking about taking it all back to the store for a refund.

This was extremely easy to put together by one person. You need to make sure that the poles are inserted and pushed in as far as they will go. I could do it by hand but it would be easy to have a soft mallet. Very happy with the purchase. It replaced rusty old shelving for my plant pots and materials. The price was very good even though the grey cost a little more.
