Multiple Use
If you do a lot of furniture restoration, these are great cloths for wiping stains, wiping poly, gel stains or doing faux finishes like liming, blending, etc. Nice tee shirt type material and if you use them for cleaning, they wash well without fraying. This is a very large quantity and you'll not run out of them any time soon. My husband even borrowed a few for doing his mechanic and car detail work.

Bag O Rags
I used to hang on to old tee-shirts until they were unwearable. Then they went into the rag bag. But I don't seem to wear them out the way I used to. Besides, the decorations on printed t-shirts sometimes comes off when I use them for staining or applying wiping poly. Anyway there's nothing fancy about this bag of rags...err...scuse...wiping cloths. Plain white cotton t-shirt material, clean, soft, ready to use right out of the bag. Handy to have around.

Very different textures
The 4 lb bag of wiping cloths that I received contains a combination of fabrics, comprised of cotton, polyester and rayon. The cloths are different sizes and shapes and are made of scraps from new textile material. They also vary in thickness and absorbency. Some seem like t- shirt material and others are more silky or more elastic. It is a good use for leftover textiles that can be used for staining or if you need something to pick up drips of paint.

BIG BAG OF RAGS
This big bag of rags is filled to the brim with good size wiping rags. These rags are great for clean up of paint messes, grease messes, staining, dusting, waxing, window cleaning, etc, etc. These rags are good quality new fabric scraps and very clean. The sizes of rags vary from small to medium. One bag will last you a quite a while and they are washable. Pick up a bag to put in your shop or cleaning closet.

Multi Purpose Multiple Sizes
Excellent choice for staining, painting, cleaning up around the house or cleaning tools after working in the garden. The four pound bag has different sizes and different materials. I find them great when cooking or baking in the kitchen. I use to go through a lot of paper towels now I can get a wiping cloth rinse when needed toss if stained. The cloths are great to put under bathroom sinks to keep countertops dry.

Basic Rags
The picture identifies these as " Terry Staining Pads." The package I received identifies them as, " HDX Painters Rags." Bottom line? They are rags. Standard t-shirt type material rags. I thought I was getting. "All-Purpose Wiping Cloths." That being said, rags are always useful around the house. These are great for cleaning up spills, polishing furniture and so forth. There is always a use for rags.

Soft easy to use
Doesn't sound like much but four lbs is a lot of all-purpose wiping cloths. These are pretty much rags you can use and throw away if it gets stained too much. Otherwise they can be reused. I wash mines and keep them around the house so that it's more environmental. It's soft cloth so it's easy on the hands when you are wiping mess up. I would highly recommend this item.

Good product
the product help me a lot with my backsplash project. The cloths are good size almost 12x12 most of them. i guess there is almost 100 cloths in there, i didnt count exactly . The material is nylon but it holds the liquid very well. They are for single use. Price is very good for a big bag of wiping cloths. i thought they were cotton but they are not. It works great anyway.

just the right size
These cloths are just the right size for cleaning paint spills/drips while painting, and also the perfect size for applying stain, nice size to bunch up and hold in your hand. The fabric blend works well in picking up spills and drips, and also for wiping stain off of wood. Haven't had to wash them yet, but given the fabric blend they should wash well

Worked well
Pad is pretty absorbant, be careful not to load up too much stain. The texture of the cloth can leave behind streaks if there is too much on there, it actually looked like wood grain but not desirable. Did not leave behind and fibers or mess.

    Got the job done.
These are great if you are doing a DIY staining job. They help with a nice even stain application with very little mess. The only thing I noticed as a negative was sometimes lint was left behind. I went back over with tack cloth before the stain dried to remove any particles that were left behind.

    Restored floors and bannister
We've been working on several hardwood floors in our house. We've actually, for better or worse, experimented with different stains in different areas, to coordinate with the function of those rooms. But we also had to lean on some darker stains on the floors that were really beaten up (includes the stairs). These pads really helped with the project (with ipswitch, cherry, and red mahogany shades). I think the end results would have been much lessen even, without these pads.

Better than an old tee shirt
I usually use old socks or tee shirts for staining but I had an extra special project, a 72x30 desk for myself! I could have used the socks/tee's for the stain but I wanted something smoother and that gave more control over drag marks for the 3 or 4 semi-gloss top coats. These pads are fine for the stain coats but I might not waste them for that. Instead, I would save them for the streak free top coats where they really excel. i'll be buying more to keep on hand for all the delicate jobs; definitely would recommend them!

I used these to stain a guitar that I am building with some Dye and they worked great!!! The dye applied very evenly and really brought out the figure in the wood. I would recommend them for sure!

    Pads work better than cloth!
The staining pads worked much better than a cloth. I was staining long boards and they worked very well. They held the stain uniformly and did not snag on the rough wood as much as i thought they might! on 16 boards 8 ft each both sides) I only used two pads! I'll purchase and use again!

    They Work Extremely Well
Was able to apply a nice smooth coat of stain to the wood - easy to use. Gets into places where brushes are hard to get into. The evenness of the coat was better than a fairly expensive brush. Will use again on my next staining project.

    These are great for staining
I used these pads for my kitchen cabinet staining project. I mainly used them when applying the polyacrylic satin top coat and they were perfect for that part of the project. They do not cause streaks and most importantly they provide an even application of top coat. I bought several and plan to use them for my bathroom project as well.

    Worked very well
Didn't have much hope for it but decided to try anyway. Worked very well, much faster than a brush and easy to spread evenly. probably used a litle more stain than with a brush, but well worth it.
