This is a nice looking unit and it cooks great. We installed it in a base cabinet; installation was simple as it was a direct replacement. The controls are nice looking and intuitive to program. It has a number of operating modes, so it is useful to read the manual to understand how each mode works. The manual also describes how food may be done a little more quickly, so it is good to read the instructions. I find the temperature is true (our old oven had to be set higher) and it does finish a little more quickly. A nice unit!

OK, it's not cheap but boy is it great! My wife and I were remodeling our kitchen and she always wanted a second oven because our existing one is a Wolf 36" and it takes a long time to heat up and if you're only cooking something small it seems like a waste of energy, and did I mention it takes a long time to come up to temperature? So this 24" seemed perfect and it is. The LCD readout is real easy to see and the functions are intuitive, simply and work well. We put it under our island but it would work even better at eye level. Everything about this oven seems high quality. Now cooking just a banana bread or some cookies (I shouldn't review when I'm hungry; can only think about dessert...) is fast and easy.

I have always had gas ranges and finally had the opportunity to get an electric oven. Electric ovens are better for baking than gas because the heat is controlled better. I make home made granola and needed a convection oven. This oven, though small at 24", compared to my 30" range, fits cookies sheets with no problem. When baking my granola in my gas range, every 8 minutes I would have to stir the granola and swap the two trays from top to bottom to get even cooking and browning. Well, I don't need to do it with this stove using the True European convention. After stirring the granola, I don't need to swap the trays from top to bottom and the granola is consistently browned. One gripe is the Pizza oven mode. My husband makes home made pizzas and found it a little confusing that the "Pizza" option isn't good for pizza! Huh? He used the pizza mode for his pizza dough and it didn't crisp. Well after reading the manual, Pizza oven mode is good for "pastries, cakes and non-dry sweets in baking tins or moulds. Excellent results are also obtained in cooking requiring above all heat from the bottom." Well why label it pizza? The manual describes Convention Bake as "The Convection Bake mode is ideal for foods requiring high temperatures to cook, like pizzas and large roasts." So the next pizza he made he used the Convection Bake mode and it turned out perfect. Having to read the manual to find this out, ironically was a good thing. There are very handy charts on cooking times, duration, and rack position to convert standard cooking times to convection. I have found the charts really helpful. I can't wait to try the convection roast mode on whole chickens. Overall a solid stove but a little pricey in comparison to other electric wall ovens with similar features so I knocked a star off.

The stainless steel finish on this Haier wall oven goes well with my other kitchen appliances. The door pull matches perfectly with my microwave oven even thought they are different brands. We have been wanting a wall oven for quite a while because my wife and I aren't as young as we used to be and I was able to mount at just the right height so we don't have to bend over to put stuff in and take it out. It must be hard wired, so take all of the usual precautions...turn off the electricity while wiring, or if you have any apprehensions about doing it, have an electrician wire it for you. 220V is much harder on your body than 110V if you goof. This self-cleaning, 2.0 cu. ft. oven is a true convection oven with ten heating methods: Bake, High Broil, Convection Broil, Convection Bake, True European Convection, Convection Roast, Pizza Low Broil, Multi-Cooking and Defrost. It has an LCD Display/Touch Sensor control panel, a large window, a safety lockout, an interior light and two racks with five rack positions. Home Depot offered Haul-Away on this, but, of course they won't install it. It also has a two year parts and labor warranty.

HOme Depot did an excellent job delivering the oven. It was easy to install. However the temperature controls do not work it has been over a month. HAIER has to send a new control panel. POOR QUALITY CONTROL ON HAIER'S part!!! The rating does not reflect negatively on HOME DEPOT.THEY GET 5 stars. HAIER Gets 1
