iron too weak/too low a temp. to do the de-soldering/soldering...
iron too weak/too low a temp. to do the de-soldering/soldering job on a circuit board. get the 60 watt model at least. how can you know if you can’t try it out???

Fast delivery! Good general use soldering iron. Heats up quickly. Good soldering tip. Cleans up easily. Used the iron to solder 22g wire and 18. Tried to do 10g with an XT90, but it’s not hot enough.

Heats up quickly. Make sure the first time you heat...
Heats up quickly. Make sure the first time you heat it up you do it outside, it will burn off oil for at least 15min. And get some solder on the tip asap as it will oxidize and be useless…I had to get some tip cleaner and a the brass wire pad to get it to work

When I plug the cable into power the first time, smoke rose up. I could not use it any more. Though I asked a question to Hakko, I still have not received an answer from Hakko.
