Customer Reviews for Halex 1/2 in. Knock-Out Seals (4-Pack)

This was likely the first time I had to use Knock Out Seals. I moved circuits from the main box to auxiliary boxes and did not want to leave air holes in the main box where Romex had been removed. But it surprised me that the Romex cable clamps are labeled 3/8", and these plugs are labeled 1/2", when clearly they are for the same holes in the box.

They do what they need to do.

Does a great job of covering unwanted holes

They work, but feel slightly cheaper than that old ones that were not made in China.

Advertised @$2.50(prox) checked out at4.98!,, Lowe’s @$1.98 if it wasn’t such a hassle to drive 10 lies back to the store I’d return it

They were just fine.

They cover the hole, and they’re shiny.

Easy snap in fit to block off knock-outs that are no longer in use after some rework.

I only bought these because Home Depot no longer carries the watertight ones in store. They do the job but fall far secpnd beind the watertight ones

These don’t snap in too tight but they meet code and it is great to have a few in your box when doing remodeling, it can save installing a new box or permit using a used box from your junk box.

Does what it is supposed to, but is loose and allows for small space where bugs can get in still. You have to mash the prongs to make it fit tighter. But no big deal.

It is a necessary part to be used in electrical panels
