Works fine as a tack strip but the nails aren't good for concrete. More than half bent and you will need to get real concrete nails to hold strip properly

I don't know that there is much difference between tack strips. This got the job done. The nails were longer so gave me a couple of problems going into the slab. Overall, I was pleased. The only problem areas I had were in doorways where I couldn't get the carpet to always grab like I needed, but that's probably more to do with my experience level doing this stuff. Everywhere I had places to tuck the carpet edge under was fine.
