Purchased five of these about two years ago. Three have died. Replacement under warranty was easy with receipt although I don't think I want to keep replacing them even though it is easy to do. I started keeping the dead ones in case they question why three have died. I used the proper dimmer which is required, so I don't know if they had a bad batch or not. Really like the looks and lighting of the fixture but you will need a few if you really want to light the room.

Hi HD team: It’s a great design for most applications with tight space for JBox settings. It’s really more of a true 6 inch light than 4 inch’s. Love the Hali quality for 30+ year’s. Thx TER

Purchased five units for kitchen. Had two fail in first year. No problem getting them covered under warranty with saved receipt. Still a hassle though. Look good and put out a comfortable lighting in a twelve by twelve area around the perimeter with other centered lighting. Started saving dead units if future failures comes into question.

Constructed of all plastic. First one I installed resulted in the holding spring breaking the plastic it was attached to rendering the light un-installable. The quick connect connectors may be great if you have solid wire running to the light but if you have twisted wire the quick connect does not work and you will have to cut the quick connect off and use wire nuts. Basically I would say this light is the definition of "cheap".

The product itself is well made. However, the description on the Home Depot website was inaccurate. It showed a video of the product with an retrofit adaptor that screwed into a light bulb socket, but the actual product doesn't have the adaptor. It has to be hard wired to work. I returned the product.

This was the 2 nd one I bought, the 2 st one one lasted 6 mos. I hope this one last longer!

1st one burned out after three months, hope this one does better!

Neat little light, seems to out out a good amount of light. Not being very knowledgeable about LEDs I would have (and may still) opted for a lower temp to get a warmer looking light...

Only lasted a year and went out. The replacement was bad so I had to replace it. Overall the lights work fine and have been pleased with them.

Exactly what we wanted.

We had to return as they were a yellow-ish light. Was looking for very bright white lights. Disappointed as we ordered on-line and waited over a week for them to arrive.

The clips on this fixture are weak and do not support the weight of it allowing improper seal betweent fixture and ceiling.

Bought nine of these last March 2019. Say's lasts up to 22 years with 5 year limited warranty. Eight to install in new kitchen and a spare. Yesterday, April 13th, 2020 , one has failed. Put spare in its place. Says on retail box, go to www.eaton.com/lightinginfo for warranty info. "Website not found". Nothing on Eaton website for residential warranties. Having no luck with Home Depot. Called them, explained. They gave me website www.halolighting.com for info. Entered that website and it took me to Cooper Lighting website. Then submitted info on that page for them to contact me. Then received an email from EATON????!!!! Warranty process appears to be smoke and mirrors.....also product is MADE IN CHINA.....would not recommend.

I'll make this simple: We have 8 of these installed on 2 separate circuits. Very easy to install and both circuits work great on regular switches. With dimmers, though, it's all flickering. Referred to dimmer guide and also called Eaton customer service and was given engineers recommended dimmer models. 3 LED rated dimmers later (including Eaton recommended for this model) and they still flicker. So either their dimmable or not? I say they are advertised as such but, in fact, do not dim properly. Anyone who wants to dispute this can simply tell me the dimmer they use. I would really appreciate it. Thanks

They installed & functioned as expected.

These lamps installed perfectly even into non-perfect (double sheeted) ceiling. Laser level a must for nice installation. 40 lamps to replace for 40 hours is time consuming but worth it

Have 3 that have stopped working in less than a year.

Worked like a charm when I replaced a 50 year old outdoor front door light. And the 3000 color is not too soft or high. Also like the fact that it's dimmable.
