I bought 14 of these wall lamps for a renovation project. They were easy to install and decent quality material for the price, however 2 of the lamps were defective with arms that didn't swing out.

We have purchased several others of the same type wall lamp, all were sturdier materials. This lamp will work.

We purchased two. They are installed above, right and left, on each side of a built in desk. I added switches to the outlet,at the lower level, so we don't have to reach up to turn them on and off. Since the lamps are movable they accommodate anyone sitting at the desk/computer area.

We bought this lamp because we liked the looks of it and the price was reasonable. We installed it without any problems and thought we'd enjoy it for a long time to come. However, within a day or two at most, the on/off switch broke off. We fooled around and tried to fix it because we liked the lamp a lot, then decided to exchange it for another one just like it. Good thing I insisted we try the on/off switch before we left the store because it broke off immediately. The bottom line is that no matter how reasonably priced, easy to install or attractive a lamp is, it isn't much good if you can't turn it on and off.

Initially, the lamp was constructed improperly, with the lamp upside down on the base. I repaired it myself rather than drive back to the store for an exchange. Then, the on-off knob stopped working as it is made of plastic and ended up just turning on the metal shaft. Fortunately I had an older metal knob from an old lamp to replace it. As someone else noted, you must use a 3-way bulb with the proper shape, as the harp holding the shade would not allow another type bulb to be used. I purchased a shade with the spring clips which attach to the bulb, so that I can use an LED bulb. The mounting to the wall was anti-climactic after the problems with the lamp itself. I have installed, and use, Hampton Bay fans and therefore was disappointed with the quality of this product.

The Hampton Bay swing arm lamp is great! The lamp uses a 3 way light bulb for reading, so at night I can up the light level for easier reading. Many of the other wall lamps have different colored shades, but the white shade is best for easy reading. Very happy with my purchase!

Bought two and went back for three more! Easy install and the brushed nickle is very modern. Used in the great room, master bedroom and sewing room. Mini CFL bulbs can be used in them also.

This was just what I was looking for. It seemed easy enough for my husband to install. Would total recommend these to a friend.

Love the covered cord, a feature rarely seen at this price point.

I have been searching for a swing arm lamp for the bedroom. For the money this is a great find. It has a 3 stage light switch which I like and hard to find in other brands. It is a little tight and hard to swing back and forth though. The shade is well made. The total appearance is much more than the price reflects.

I dislike lamps on the floor and this is perfect.no wiring needed.It is a touch lamp for me.there is no switch.I am going to purchase more of these

I needed a better light to be able to read in bed. The one on the bedside just didn't work...too low and too dim. This light accommodates a 3-way bulb and works great. It has a swing arm that adjusts. Be aware, though, that it does not lie flush with the wall because of the shade. The unsightly cord hanging down is covered with the stainless steel and gives the whole lamp a sleek finish. This is a great lamp, quick to mount, easy to use, sturdy, and sleek.

We bought this lamp to add replace one that just did not light up the area. A very good positive is the added cover for the cord. Now, instead of the cord looking tacky, the cover makes it look like it is part of the overall room decor.

I use this lamp in my office over my PC. The arm stretches to have the light where I need it.

It is nice, but the nob switch u use to turn on and off is difficult to turn.

My only disappointment about it was that the swing action is only from the middle, the base of the arm being fixed. I have another that I purchased elsewhere which pivots from both the base and the middle, giving more flexibility in where you can place the light.

We purchased 2 of these lamps for two different locations and they really dressed up the areas.

Was very satisfied with the quality of this product. Easy to install and shows great light. The web site was easy to navigate and product arrived on time as promised and if the needs arises will most definitely order here again

I bought this in my local sore about two years ago and it was very easy to assemble and install. I bent the bow out a little so I could fit a cfl three way bulb in it and it is still going strong. We like it so much that I am stopping by home depot tomorrow to pick up another one.

We needed to replace a wall lamp because the 3way socket was not working correctly. We tried other lamps but then found this one and it is the perfect replacement for our lamp. It was the same model we had purchased 5 or so years ago and so it mounted and fit perfectly.

This wall mounted light fixture was just what I had hoped for and was really easy to instal especially since I already had an existing mounting bracket on the wall. My only issue was that the lamp shade that came with it was WAY TOO BIG. It almost appeared clunky. I liked the lamp so much though that I simply went to Lowes and bought a smaller one for $10

Unbelievable look for the price! Used them over twin guest beds and they looked gorgeous and better than I had anticipated. We had a difficult time fastening the outside cover plate to the wall.The screws turned and would not tighten til we fastened them with Superglue. The lamps arms are very tight and we are afraid to move them . We don't want the whole lamp to get loose again. We would only recommend the lamp with reservations.

I looked at a lot of swing arm wall lamps online. This was the best buy. It looks very nice and seems quite sturdy.

I already have one of the above item; I was so impressed with it, that I bought two more.

Having never put together a lamp of any kind before, I was skeptical of the 'ease' of this one, as suggested by other reviews. Most of my issues resulted from getting the previous broken lamp off the wall and getting this product up in its place. The screws did not line up, and it was difficult to get them in a place where they would work, but that is not the fault of this product. It went together pretty easily, though I did not use their wall brackets and such due to my predicament with the previous lamp. Also, the lamp shade doesn't bug me as it seems to do with other reviewers. Overall, a positive experience. My room is once again lit -- Win.
