For my purposes - this light will have to suffice. Unfortunately I required a light with a pull cord due to having no wired wall switch. I replaced a ceiling fan with this light. Installation was easy (I had never installed a fixture before and didn't have an issue). The light itself it not very bright and only has room for one bulb. There would really be room in the dome for a second bulb, but no such luck with the design. Once installed, it perpetually seems like a fixture that has a burnt out bulb. The string that it comes with as an option to lengthen the chain looks extremely cheap. I added additional chain to mine with my own pull at the end. My next step is going to be to find the brightest possible bulb that still meets the maximum watt specifications.

I bought this light because I needed one that turns on and off independent of a light switch. It was very easy to install and looks great! It is modern looking and I love the brushed nickel.

The screws it came with were either too long or too short. I ended up having to use my own screws...
The screws it came with were either too long or too short. I ended up having to use my own screws from the junk drawer.
Also, the switch is oriented horizontally (with a tube pointed downward), which leads to the chain binding up. It would be much better if Hampton Bay had the switch oriented vertically.
