  • Bright light and no light bulbs, but, ackward install

I was looking to replace my CFL in the garage that burnt out. While looking at lights I saw this one, was curious about no light bulbs. Got home and removed the old light fixture and installed the flushmount light. The install was ackward as you will be holding the light while trying to use a wire nut to fasten the wires. Since the light plate is 16 inches wide it will teeter on you and makes it tough to hold all the wires in your fingers. Suggestion to the manufacturer would be to cut a hole in the middle of the plate so you can pull the wires through and attach it to the outlet. This will give you both hands to work on the wiring. The light is bright and uses less electricity! I like it so much I bought another one for my garage.

Pros Eco-Friendly, Good Size & Weight, Looks Great, Nice Design, Very Bright Cons ackward install

We had a nice ceiling fan with a light fixture in the kitchen, but it never seemed like there was enough light while cooking. Well not anymore! We replaced that with this LED fixture and WOW! Problem solved. Now, the fan is gone but we bought a new one for over our dining/hangout table. Perfecto! This 20" fixture is greatness of you want to seriously brighten your kitchen/room.

I bought this light for my kitchen to replace an old florescent fixture. I am very pleased with the upgrade the light is brighter and the look is more modern. It is extremely lightweight. The light is bright white so if you like the yellowish light bulbs this is not for you.

It took about 5 Minutes to install! It is extremely light, attractive and the LED lights my garage 10 times better than my old florescent fixture.

Bought a couple of these to replace two fluorescent strips in the garage that had failing starters. Rather than replace the starters, I decided to go with a cleaner look. A couple points to consider: 1) Installation couldn't have been easier. the LED light plate screws right into the junction box, with screw slots to accommodate different sized junction boxes. After sliding the light plate over the screws, just tighten to the ceiling, slide on the diffuser cover, and twist. 2) Be careful when unboxing. On the first one, I wasn't exactly sure how to separate the diffuser and the light plate, and ended up knocking the two together (very lightly). The plastic for the diffuser is very thin, and I ended up putting a small hole and crack in the diffuser. Because these are for the garage, I went ahead and completed the installation, making sure the small hole faces away from any normal viewing angles. Now I'll have to decide whether to find another diffuser (if possible), or simply buy another just for the part. Right now, the cheap side of me just says let it be and fix it with some tape if needed!
