I am very pleased with the lamp

This review is a reflection of Home Depot, not the lamp. The lamp was returned upon opening the box. After opening the box, it was readily apparent that the lamp had previously been bought and returned. Only the lamp was inside the box, with none of the manufacturer's packaging materials and owner's manual/warranty card. There were no markings on the box that this had been returned and was led to believe that this was brand new item. If Home Depot is going to sell merchandise in this condition, it needs to be disclosed to its customers. Truly disappointed in how Home Depot represented the condition of this lamp. You have to do better than this.

I bought this lamp to match another swing lamp that I own. It’s a high quality lamp, and l like how it looks also.

Lamp is great. Added to decor of my apartment.

Perfect lamp for the chaise

The lamp leaned. I would have been willing to keep it and right it with some sticky felt, but the shade looked cheap, and I wasn't willing to fix the lean and replace the shade. This is lamp number 1 of 2 from Hampton Bay that I have had to return for quality issues. I tried the swing arm wall lamp in this style and the glue had bled through the shade.

It was a good replica of the lamp I was replacing. I have been very pleased with it - it works!

I purchased this floor lamp for my wife for her birthday per her request. The lamp's packaging was well thought out for protecting all the parts from damage during shipping. Instructions were straight forward and easy to understand for pretty much anyone to assemble this lamp. Lamp is constructed with very sturdy parts. The swing arm is useful to direct 8light to where you need it, such as for reading. A standard base light bulb is required. We chose to use an LED daylight white bulb, which turned out to be just right for reading. The attached AC power wire is long enough for most applications to avoid the need for an extension cord.

Exactly what I wanted/expected. Sturdy swing arm lamp! My only negative comment would be that the shade when lit looks more yellowish than cream, so I saved the shade from the lamp it replaced in case I decided I really didn't like it...Otherwise, it's GREAT!

I was shopping for a reading lamp that wasn't hugely tall, unassuming but kind of classical looking. This lamp is really perfect. Love the height, the swing arm, the color. There is no con whatsoever. This is the 4th lamp I have bought from Home Depot this year. I start out shopping on different websites and each time end up on HD and each time really pleased with the lamp, its look, quality, cost, delivery. Highly recommend. Always shipped fast and in perfect condition and no problem assembling
