I purchased this fixture for my Mom’s house to replace the old and original one. Light fixture is nice, however, the bag of hardware was open and parts were scattered all over the box and I ran into the following issues. 1) Mounting screws are way too long, not everyone has a deep electrical box, hers was 1 inch deep and had to use the old and rusted 3/4 inch screws from the old light. 2) the 2 black lock nuts were missing and had to use the old faded and rusty ones. I hereby request the manufacturer send me a new set of locknuts ASAP.

Our old light fixtures on front & back porches were about 7” and were very Plain Jane . The Hampton Bay lights are 8”. My theory for selecting these was “less is more” and something too ornate would look like overkill on a modest rambler house. These lights look great and shine very brightly in the dark. Very pleased but we probably could have gone a little bigger size like 10”, but really no regrets at all!!! Love the clear glass globe with the clear glass 60 watt bulbs. Not overly ornate or ostentatious which is what we desired. Love them & Looks great!!! Online ordering & locker pickup next day was so easy & smooth!

The circular part of the light fixture does not fit on the mounting box or cover it properly so now there is a gap that water can get in. I thought these things were standard sizes. I am not happy that I have to buy another fixture or replace the gang in the wall now.

Value for price is good. Easy to install. Functions well (it's new). Presents very well aesthetically on the house, garage, or shed.

Instructions were odd with the long screws you thread the light onto at the end - I had to shorten them in order for it to attach correctly, the instructions make it sound like you keep them as is and put the little nuts on the outside and tighten it - but they don't work that way.

I liked the l8ght, but the screws were too long with no nuts included to adjust. So I had to go back to HD to pay for shorter screws

The light is wonderful but the holes to put it up with are off from the standard. We ridged it to work with what was there.

Good replacement front door light.

The lights are great, except they put stickers on the aluminum plate that you can’t remove. Unfortunately I couldn’t turn the plate around because there’s a sticker on the other side. When I look at the lights that’s all I see! It’s disappointing, but you get what you pay for
