Loved the brushed nickel look on light switch plate, but top coating starting chipping off in less than 3 months. Would not recommend. Will try to return this one and buy a different brand.

Wanted something clean looking against the new glass tile backsplash with a finish that matched the knobs and pulls in the kitchen. Chose a number of different plates in this style and they look amazing.

Exactly what I was looking for. Very sleek and minimal, and matches my renovated bathroom perfectly. Liked it so much I put it in both of my bathrooms!

Also apparently switch covers have shrunk over the years since we last had to replace a bunch. This is an attractive plate and matches up to the description. However it was ever so slightly smaller then the standard hole covered by the previous plate. Husband had to fabricate a piece of tile or grout to fill in. Otherwise a nice product.

The finish touches are what makes a space unique and these plates are just that. Either for a light switch or an outlet anywhere in the house, it looks great. I replaced one plate and seeing the difference I've changed a few and I have more to go. The metal material is strong and durable, it was easy to install and looks attractive. An easy upgrade with the plate and it only took a few minutes to do it.

A unique solid very nicely finish wall plate. So many wall plates are thin and flimsy and bend when you screw them on. Not this one! The Ansley cast wall plate is thicker than a plastic or pressed metal plate and looks and feels solid. The brushed metal finish helps this wall plate blend in any decor. This looks great above the kitchen counter, for a rich solid look and feel. A nice finishing touch when redoing a room

I added This just to see the effect it would add. I am glad i did as just love how this has the potential to accent both the outlet and the ambiance of a room or wall. It is nice to add some color and a heavy , well finished receptacle/toggle switch cover. I just love how little thins like this just clean up and improve small areas that effect the overall area. Will add more for sure.

This is a nice looking and fairly heavy metal double,light switch wall plate. They call it oil rubbed or on the package it says "Aged Bronze", but I think the color is much closer to black on the main part of the cover, with bronze or copper highlights on the edges. The plate is fairly stout and does not bend easily. It is also slightly larger that a standard plastic cheapy light cover which is nice as it covers any edges where the painting had stopped. It measures about 4 3/4" square and about 1/4 inch thick on the edges, the material that it is made of is about 1/16" thick. The screws have been painted or powder coated black and the slot for the screwdriver is slightly thinner than a standard screwdriver, and it is fairly easy to chip the coating on the screws. The coloring on the plate seems to be fairly durable and not easily scratched (but you can scratch it) All in all a nice looking and seemingly well built cover, as long as you don't mind it being more black than bronze or brown.

I like this double wall plate oil rubbed bronze finish. What makes this more unique to me is the depth of the plate itself. I think it gives it more appealing look to this plate. See the pics. Now it has a nice finish but since I was using it in a bathroom location and from pass experience with metal plates. Eventually they will start to rust and have rust dots forming because of the humidity in the bathroom. So what I do, and you really don't have to, is that I use clear matte finish spray that is good for interior or exterior usage on the plate. Because I am particular, I usually try to make sure all the screw slots are lined up too. Overall an excellent quality metal double switch plate.

bought with 2-gang switch plate. Both beautifully compliment the other fixtures in our powder room. Not only looks great but is heavy and feels very substantial - doesn't look cheap

Perfect and inexpensive upgrade to our workout area. The old white plastic wall cover we had looked out of place next to the iron (weights) and workout gear. This brushed nickel wall plate added the industrial but classy accent that we were looking for. And Installing the new wall plate took less than a minute. It looks great and we couldn't be happier with the result.

This 2 switch metal wall plate cover by Hampton Bay is very nice. It is also reasonably priced. It is the oil rubbed bronze collection but they do offer several different color options in this Ansley collection. It has the plug covers that match this also. It is very well made and thick. The cover has a high end look to it. It comes with the screws to match that you need to install it.

The Hampton Bay Ansley Cast 2 Toggle Wall Plate in Aged Rubbed bronze is an extremely attractive light switch cover. The wall plate itself is a cast material and the finish is very durable and of high quality. I especially like the copper ring around the edge. It helps it to stand out and give it an even higher end appearance. Matching mounting screws finish out the look. I recently changed out my main bathroom light fixture and this wall plate is going to match perfectly. I couldn't be happier.

This lever-style privacy doorknob made by Defiant is very durable, very stylish, has a dark bronze finish, and not flimsy in any way. Installation is straightforward as long as it’s being used as a replacement. It took 10 minutes to replace the existing doorknob with this one, and I’m glad I did. It operates really smoothly and would look better on a lighter color door than a dark one. A very nice product that will last for many years.

The Ansley Cast 1 Wall Plate is an easy way to improve your home's appearance without going broke. I had them installed throughout my previous home. They are truly wonderful, so when I relocated they were the obvious choice for wall plates. Whether your choice be single or double rocker design, you cant go wrong. They are often noticed as soon someone enters my home. Once installed this wall plate speaks for itself. Several visitors have asked where I found them. The classic Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish with matching screws really gets noticed. There's virtually no maintenance, just dust off as needed.

High quality is good. Thickness is a little bit on larger scale than regular plates. The letter leads to impression that outlet is too deeply embedded. It is fixable in my case only with putting some spaces at that point of outlet attachment to the wall socket box. I did not have spacers at that moment of installation. As an advise to manufacturer: include spacers into installation package. That is the reason I am keeping one star in reserve. As mentioned the quality is on its top and plate looks great!

Ansley Cast 1 Decora Wall Plate - Oil-Rubbed Bronze This wall plate has the feel of good quality metal with a beautiful finish. I like the squared edges that make the plate stand away from the wall, but what I like most is the dark color. The bronze finish is just what I needed to hide black fingerprints and other marks my husband leaves behind when he enters the garage after gardening, on his way to the sink where he washes up. The old light colored wall plate inevitably got dirty, and I was tired of having to clean it so often. My idea is working, so far this week there are no dark smudges, or at least any smudges that show!

This very pretty double switch wall plate is made by Hampton Bay and is in their Ansley Collection. It is an Aged Bronze Finish, with a small amount of a copper look around the edges. It is made of a nice solid metal and comes with 4 screws that have the aged bronze color on the heads so they match the wall plate perfectly when it is installed on the wall. We have a light in our hallway that is the same color and never got around to changing out the wall plate to match it. So when I saw this online, I ordered it. Very simple to remove the old plate and screw this one in place! The update looks nice in the hallway now!

This Ansley Cast 1 Decora Wall Plate - Oil-Rubbed Bronze is a very stylish plate . We have a tan type paint in our room and we put it on the wall in there and wow, it looks great . It is a very heavy metal plate weighing about 0.15 pounds and has a good depth to cover most paddle type switches . This wall plate will really brighten up your wall and give it a really good look . It measures 4 5/8 inches tall by 3 1/8 inches wide and will last for many years .

I’ve been doing a “remodel on a budget” of my guest bathroom recently. Since I can’t afford a full remodel, I decided just to change out the fixtures from the shiny chrome that looks all of 30 years old, to a more modern oil rubbed bronze. I thought for sure the switch plate would go great with the new fixtures. It measures 4 in.² and has the oil rubbed bronze with just a hint of copper edging. While it does go with the rest of the fixtures in the bathroom, I was a little disappointed with the mounting process. The screws are painted more of a shiny black and chip very very easily when trying to install them. Also, because the plate is half again thicker than most standard switch plates, I had a tough time trying to hold the screws in the hole while turning the screwdriver to get them to thread. This caused a lot of chipping of the paint on all four of the screws. The screws are the same short length as what comes with the standard plastic switch plates which makes threading them into the mounting holes very tedious. Even using the utmost care, it was impossible to screw in the screws without chipping all four of them. Had they been even 1/8th of an inch longer, they would have been easier to thread. But even then I think the paint still would have chipped off of the screws. Unless you have a rubber screwdriver, I don’t think this will be able to be avoided.

Complete the look you're going for with a decorative wall plate such as this all metal double toggle switch plate with an oil rubbed aged bronze finish. I especially appreciate the copper highlighted rim to give it that handcrafted impression of workmanship. An added bonus I didn't anticipate is that the darkened finish makes it easier to find the switches in a dimly lit room

Attractive and stylish, this Ansley wall plate in oil-rubbed bronze will add a high end look to your rocker switch or GFI outlet. With an attractive lighter bronze outer frame, it beautifully compliments the darker oil-rubbed bronze face plate. Unlike other wall plates, this stand out a bit from the wall. As a result, the screws are longer than your typical screws, just make sure you have room behind the outlet. I had wallboard, so it took more effort to attach it to the switch.

The finish on this wall plate is nice, and it matches all of my other brushed nickel finishes. I installed it, and noticed a pretty big gap in between the switch plate and the light switches. I had to loosen the screws on the light switches to lessen the gap. Really you should use spacers behind the light switches in this scenario and I feel the manufacturer should have included them.

The item was shipped quickly and well packaged. The wall plate is very sturdy and has a nice finish. I was a little worried about the thickness of the plate, but it looks great, although I did have to loosen the screws on the actual switch a little so they lined up (pulled out) flush with the plate. Installing a decorative plate is a nice simple upgrade over cheap looking plastic switch plates and only take a couple minutes to install. I am very happy with the look and quality of this wall plate.

Nice and sturdy, substantial wall plate. I like a more decorative wall plate than the standard plastic one, but I don't want a fussy one with a lot of details which will get outdated. My 1971 house came with a lot of ugly plastic switch plates, which get grunge in the grooves and yellow over time and also hideous overwrought 1970s designs for switch plates, which I've been slowly replacing with nicer looking versions. This wall plate is a nice clean design, and it's made of metal, so it's not a flimsy cheap item. The brushed nickel goes with my fixtures and makes a cohesive look for the bathroom.
