I can see how some may struggle with the assembly of this chaise, but with patience and a little extra muscle the end result is a good looking, very comfortable chaise lounger.

This chaise lounger is nice not over sized and fits out patio perfect, the construction is good for the price and easy to put together.

Love this chair, better looking than picture, extremely comfortable, and easy to put together - great chair!

Difficult to assemble as the screw holes don’t match. Love the chair, even though only three legs touch the ground.

I would give this a five star had it not been for the lack of instructions. I understand why so many had problems assembling these and ended up with 'rocking' chaise or uneven legs. You first have to know that there is a specific left and right arm, and since they are not marked it is hard to tell unless you notice in the above photo that the arms tilt slightly upward at the mid section of the chaise and the arm is slightly lower at the back of the chaise. My husband had put one together and the same uneven legs happened, until I noted that the arms were reversed. This could be easily remedied by the marking of the arms. I had called customer service that was indicated on the insert and they were the most UNHELPFUL ever! We were ready to return all five until I noticed the arms and the Home Depot photo online. After that, they went together perfectly!

Very comfortable and good quality. Looked at a number of different sets of outdoor furniture, this was the best value I found. Other brands were 3-4 times as much without a difference in quality, comfort and style.

Very easy to put together, although it would be easier if you have extra person to help . But overall it's beautiful and comfortable chaise!

We will be taking back the five we ordered. You can almost see in the above photo that the middle legs on the arms do not touch the ground. As a matter of fact, they are short about two inches, leaving no support at mid chair. We tried turning the arms around - because even though the instructions indicate a right and left, they are not marked as such so you have to guess - the front legs are now too short making it a rocking chair because turned around, the mid legs are about two inches too long. Obviously a defect that cannot be fixed with a new part. The only thing worse that this chair is the appalling customer service from the manufacturer, who wanted to open a file, have me send photos, etc. I will never order another Hampton Bay item again and will be returning these five items, which will be a pain in the butt because they each weigh in at 52 pounds. If you ignore the bad reviews and purchase anyway then, like me, you will learn quickly not to! DO NOT BUY!!!!

Easy to assemble. Looks exactly as advertised. Too low to the ground for my preference, but, it is loved by all who use it.

Very nice and comfortable chair. It took both my husband and I together to assemble as it wasn’t easy to align the arms with the base and insert the screws. We’ve only had the chaise a month but so far love it.

Love the chair but greatly disliked the assembly. The holes do not match up making assembly near impossible.

Exactly what wanted!!

The lounges look great, but they are not forpeople over 5. We bought four lounges to go with all of our other Hampton Bay wicker furniture. All of our other furniture is great, but the lounges are built for shorter people. I’m 6’4” and when sitting up in the lounge, my feet hang off by a good 6 inches. I have never sat in a lounge chair that short. When I lay down in the lounge, my feet all cats and my head hanging off

DO NOT BUY THESE CHAIRS! !! Holes for screws do not align easily. Very poorly made product of China. Connection bar would not line up for screw , no matter the adjustments or modifications I did. Chinese JUNK

The chaise lounge is just as pictured. Looks like very good quality and is comfortable.

The chairs seem nice and sturdy but one of them we could not put all the bolts in because the drilled holes were misaligned. NOT GOOD, I expected better. Probably too much of a hassle to return.

We purchased four of these chairs and despite the great video showing how to assemble them, they will not assemble properly. They are manufactured poorly and none of the pieces align so the bolts will fit. It is a pretty chair, but useless when you cannot assemble it. We tried three of the four chairs hoping to find one that would work, but no luck.

I ordered two of these brought them home and tried to assemble. This is where everything went bad. The screws were Immediately tight to the point they stripped out. I know they were not cross threaded But that’s how it felt. One bolt broke into because I had to try and tightened with vise grips due to the Allen head stripped out. I am returning them tomorrow.

We’ve been looking for years for a comfortable chaise lounge for our patio. This one was worth the wait. The pillow cushion is so comfortable as compared to others. We bought the sunbrella cushion covers which look beautiful against the wicker. Wide arms for addeded comfort. Pricey but worth it. Tip: Watch the installation video before assembling

This product looks nice at the end but was ridiculous to put together. One of our parts was missing and screws sometimes didn’t line up right. For the money it costs, it should be more user friendly to put together honestly.
