Didn’t have much functionality for my Hampton bay fan other than on or off. No lighting changes and wouldn’t change fan speed.

Bought this hoping to replace my wall switch so I didn’t have to search for the remote that came with my fan to turn it on and off. Purchased two and neither would control the fan. Called Home Depot customer service who put me in contact with the manufacturer. Turns out the company that makes the switch is not the same one that makes the fan although they both carry the Hampton Bay name. Save yourself some headache, if you have an existing Hampton Bay fan just call Home Deopt and order an extra remote. This won’t work. Will only work if you use the enclosed fan controller with the switch.

Perfect replacement to the fan control. Only had power wires running to existing fan. Changed fan to one with lights and replaced the single pole switch with this unit and it works great. Much better than running new wires. Only issue is it requires a battery, but it is easily replaced from the snap in cover so it's not a hassle. I recommend it.

This is a quality product that was easy to install. Instructions were easy to understand for the DIY individual. I would buy again.

We purchased this switch with the expectation that it would control Hampton Bay fan with supplied hand remote control. Although it says in the instructions you can adjust dip switches to work with the fan, it doesn’t work…. Very disappointing as we love the fan ! So we now have to use the hand remote control to operate the fan, which is OK, but it would have been nice to operate from wall switch as well.

Product is good, easy to install. I have the Hampton Bay fan, have had it for over 10 years, but the buttons on the switch went out. I way very happy I could get another one online I was just not ok with the amount of time it took to get it. The delivery date kept changing & even the store it was delivered to was changed to a store 30 minutes away from me. But overall the product is good. Glad my fan is up & running again.

This remote switch was easy to install. The receiver part that goes in the Hampton Bay fan is a very tight fit. It works as advertised.

A previous owner had installed one of these in our home, but it had seen better days. This was a direct replacement. Works much better now!

My old Hampton Bay switch went out after 20 years and I replaced it. Set the code to the receiver in my fan and it works great!
