Not waterproof!
I just spent $1000 on 2 patio lounge chairs and then purchased these covers. It rained. Guess what? It soaked right through the covers and into the chairs. Pretty upset about this.

Hampton Bay Chaise Outdoor Patio Cover, Beige
These chaise Patio Covers are exactly what I was looking for with one exception...they only last one season in the Carolina sun. I don't know if this is true with all these types of items but they turn brittle and rip so I've had to replace them every year.
