It was easy to assemble, appears to be sturdy, and should hold up to the elements well. The swinging action is fine; a little WD-40 under the bolt heads makes it glide smooth as butter. I like the fact that it came with a toolkit and all the bolts and a spare bolt for assembly.

I am a bit disappointed in the glider. It doesn't glide very well at all, but otherwise it is alright. Thank you!!

We have a deck that is exposed to the elements and were looking for something that would hold up. So far its working out perfectly. Delivery was fast and easy. They were very easy to set up and are super comfortable. This is now our go to lounge area!

I had an issue where I had two of the same arms but they remedied that at no cost to me. It turned out that one arm was incorrectly marked. I was very careful not to scratch the finish while constructing this bench. My son and my sister helped me put it together as it is much easier with two people. I think you could get it put together with one, but it would be much more difficult. The glider held well when I sat on it and glided it back and forth. It was very comfortable. It was a little stiff in the gliding but I think with time or a little oil that will loosen up.

This is a very nice two person seat. It was very simple to assemble, about 30 to 45 minutes total. This item came with all the necessary hardware and even all the tools need to put it together as well as clear assembly instructions. It is comfortable but I think some thin cushions would be an added comfort. It's kind of still stiff as far as movement but in time it should move fairly easy. It even has a nice name plate that is on the back of the chair.

I am getting old and love to sit on my patio and watch my world. I have an old glider similar to this one. But the material on it was getting fragile and one of my dogs tore it to shreds. This glider's fabric seems to be very sturdy and shouldn't rot. I like the color it is pleasing to the eyes. There are not that many parts and yes you do have to assemble. It comes with the necessary tools and assembles easy and quickly even for a crippled up broken down old man. Do follow the instructions. The frame is strong steel that will last a very, very long time. It is extremely comfortable and the glider action is so soothing. I highly recommend. And my dog is not allowed to get in it!

This is a wonderful swing chair. The assembly was very easy and the directions were just as easy to follow. There's a nice passing sewn into the material, which is very durable & weatherproof. Many of these chairs come weather-resistant, but I am very impressed with the quality and workmanship put into making these patio furniture I got at Home Depot. You can buy the pieces individually or as a set. You will be handsomely pleased with this set of you choose to buy them.

The Hampton Bay Crestridge glider is top of the line…A great, sturdy welded steel frame with great, comfortable well padded cushions. Big enough for two kinda large people, between the two of us, lookin’ at about 500 pounds and the glider has no problem. Assembly instructions are a little sketchy. Looks great on the patio. Will be spending a bunch more time in the outdoors now. Super highly recommended.

Only 5 pieces to assemble. this glider was a two persons job. Good quality and no problems with screws matching up with holes  This is  very attractive glider. It looks so nice on our deck. Very comfortable sitting and relaxing while gliding back and forth. 

The unpack and assembly time for this glider is about 20 minutes. The instructions are easy to follow and the mirror image arms can only go on one way. A 13mm wrench is included in the bolt package but I really recommend using a ratchet wrench as this will save a lot of time and effort. The bolts are separately packaged and clearly labeled and even has one extra of everything in case you lose something. No help is required for assembly. The gliding action is not very far and has little inertia. You pretty much need to supply a push for each back and forth glide as there is no inertia for additional rocks once you stop pushing. The glide range is a few inches but it is ok if you prefer just a little rocking over just sitting there. It is lightweight so it is easy to move around.

I love this glider. It is a two seater which fits perfectly on my porch. The color is a nice putty taupe which is beige/grey in color and looks great. Glides nicely not to fast or slow. It was easy to put together, took around a half hour to do so. Love the steel body and the material on the glider is very strong. Ordered a cover for it, can't wait for spring to be able to have more time to use it.

This patio glider comes sub assembled and really only requires adding the two arm assemblies to the seat frame and then installing that onto the base frame. Once removed from the box, none of the parts are very heavy. A couple of bolt ups are a little awkward and a second person makes it easier, but not really necessary. If you choose to do it alone, you can definitely do it. I had no problems with alignment, all the screws easily went into their respective holes. One swinging bracket was bent from shipment, but I easily straightened it out using just my hands and then all went smoothly. Be sure to leave all the screws slightly loose until everything is assembled then tighten everything up at the very end. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. This is my third piece of Hampton Bay outdoor furniture. They have great instructions and furnished all the tools and screws, washers etc. I needed. Really well thought out for average homeowners to easily do themselves. The frame is ridged with little flexing, attractively styled and supports up to 500 pounds. I like the rectangular flat bar steel base frame too. It seems sturdier and more solid compared to the round tube style bases I see on a lot of similar gliders. The fabric seat looks and feels sturdy, like it will last for many years and tough enough to hold up well under my weight and even the grandkids while rocking away. The putty taupe color with dark brown frame blends in well with the rest of my porch furniture even though it’s not the same as my original set. Apparently a cover is not available for this glider. Maybe Hampton Bay will decide to offer one in the future? I have winter covers for all my porch furniture and it would be nice if they offered one for this. I added a few drops of lubrication (an old maintenance habit of mine) and it glides back and forth smoothly and quietly. I can’t wait for spring to get here and spend some more time in this patio glider, it’s very relaxing! To clean wipe it down with just a damp cloth. The steel frame and seat fabric are both backed by a 2 year limited warranty.

For an inexpensive glider this is fairly well constructed. It took about 45 minutes to assemble and aligning the parts was easy. Directions were straight forward and easy to follow. I had a problem with one of the hex screws but the kit came with extra fasteners so it worked out well. Some reviews have stated that this glider was hard to swing but I didn't have that issue, it works great and gives a nice update to the furniture on my small porch. The glider seems sturdy once all of the fasteners are tightened.
