Fit perfectly in my living room window! Easy to trim and make the right length.

Decided to make my Florida Room less visible at night so I installed tracks and installed vertical wands. Worked perfectly except I have one complaint - I order the tracks to exact specifications for the widths of the three open area but they came with at least 9 unnecessary clips to install the verticals so I had to expend additional funds to fill the gaps left by the additional clips.

Shipped early but false advertisement. Im not sure where this order went wrong.

I installed them and they got broke within the first week, very disappointing

I ordered 4 sets (36 packs total) for my windows. Only one out of 36 packs is broken when delivered. It actually turns out a bit shorter than I expected but still works great for my windows, so remember to add about 1.5” for your preferred length. I know it might turn yellow when time goes by, but the price is unbeatable. I love how the result turns out and will definitely order them again in the future.

The slats are screwed together at the top by the manufacturer and it is difficult to get the screw out. Two of the nine slats were already ruined due to this process. They need to find a better way to keep them together. Other than that, I am happy with them. They cut them to the length I wanted at the store and I replaced my damaged ones easily.

just got 3 sets of these yesterday and I am not happy. First, They are not room darkening. I see an ugly yellowish orange red glow and light. Second: They are VERY LIGHT WEIGHT. Thin and flimsy. The box said WHITE, but they dont look white one they are hung. My advice, buy the expensive ones that are really thick. Do not throw away your hard earned money on this junk.

I tried to match the blinds I had because I live in an apartment where my dog chewed on 6 of my blinds. The color matched but more light came through these than the ones I originally had. So not an exact match and not as room darkening as my originals. But overall good. If they were more room darkening would have been better. I got great service from Staff

Light is bleeding through. A picture shows comparison of the same brand purchased few years ago and a new one. Product should be recalled. Do not buy!

These are horriable. One package of slats was thicker than the other 2 packages . In one pack the slats are wider. If these have lot #'s then it should be stated on packaging. Not sure what to do about the static. Guess I will be sleeping with the blinds askew. Some slats are darker than others. Hardly any overlap except for the first slat it has about 1/2 inch, the others are about 1/8 inch or less. I had these cut to fit my window and I'm sure I can't take them back or I would.

It looks like there has been a significant decrease in quality even though the price has increased. A couple years ago these cost about $11 and did a great job blocking light. Now they cost more and let light pass through them. Unfortunately it is quite noticable when compared to the existing blinds. The existing blinds are the exact same brand and color. It really is a shame that quality is not a priority at Hampton Bay.

It was easy to install. We purchased this for the large kitchen window. The cordless blinds we had prior was the worst and waste of money. I love this in my kitchen so happy now and it's holding up well.

I like the color. It is pretty and good quality.

The material is so thin that light still penetrates through. You can see my bronze colored window tint coming through -- see pic. The one on the left is the replacement blind. The others are existing. I'll be returning the replacements soon.

I actually DIY'd them to cover/repair my mobile home skirting, where holes were created by unprofessional lawn care people in the past, as replacing the skirting gets expensive. Too bad I wasn't able to find an exact color match. Just make sure the blinds are vinyl, as they come in an assortment of materials.

Very easy to cut to fit. Look really nice on my patio door.

One broke the minute I put it up, the second broke the next day. The material is so thin and so easy to break that later my son broke it into one-inch-pieces in minutes. I do not recommend this product.

At First glance I thought these vertical louvers were of descent quality; solid, 1/32” thick, and semi-flexible, but once I started to install the blinds, I discovered the following: - The louvers are easily creased -and They break or snap easily when folded too far - plastic/vinyl feel All the instructions are included and are easily followed and understood. If you find these louvers at your local store and want a team member to trim (cut) the louver to length here is what you need to measure: -Measure from the top of the louver’ head-rail to the floor or window at least 3 different points. Then Subtract 1.5” from the smallest measurement. This will be your louver length. Or if your replacing some on old louvers then measure your current louvers and bring that measurement to a Home Depot Team Member so that you can get the right trimming. I don’t expect the louvers to last too long but for the price on a tight budget you can make the louvers last a descent amount of time and may be worth the effort. Summary - Easy to clean with a damp cloth no cleaning or bleach products needed or recommended. - Easy Installation and use, virtually anyone with a tiny bit of skill can replace their own louvers -Recommended for its economic value and ease of use -Not Recommended for its durability.

If you have doggies..these vertical blinds are not good at all. Since 2010 I bought maybe 30 packs of them. Spent over $300 just to replace them. Only positive things...low price for 9 pcs in pack.

Easy replacement for those vertical blinds in your house. The Hampton Bay vertical blind set makes it easy to replace those damaged, outdated or just a refresher color scheme for those who have vertical blinds in their homes. Seems like shades are the new trend these days, but there are those like myself who still have vertical blinds - I have them at my sliding glass door to the deck. Vertical blinds are still quite useful and compared to shades, are quite easy to operate. They're easy to replace as well! Just unhook the the old ones from the clasp and snap in a the replacement one! How easy is that!

I actually had them cut to the size of my mothers window and they were perfect!

I replaced my wind damaged vertical louvers using the Hampton bay vertical louver set that consists of 9 louvers that are 3.5" wide and actually 100.5" long. They fit in a 3.5" head rail that is sold separately. With the head rail in place the louvers can be removed by pushing up and then pulling them out of place. You then can insert the new louvers that just snap in place. Once in place you can cut off the excess louver to adjust the length. The louvers can be opened to let in light or closed to darken a room. They can be left open on the right or left side as a doorway. One pack will cover up to 25"

This blinds have a very good quality I've used them in the past and they keep looking like new.

Had these cut in store and hung them with ease. One complaint, they state "room darkening" but they show much more light than expected. Their just a bit above light filtering compared to the blinds I replaced them with.

Very nice blinds color matches my existing louvers so replacement will be nice. Easy to cut although I use a good heavy pair of Tin scissors. These arrived in a long large box and during shipping the very tip of the bottoms arrived with a little damage. These are plenty long for my installation that this was not a problem because each one had to be cut to length. Highly recommend this product and they really look great.

I needed 26 slats to do a complete replacement at my sliding patio door so I bought 3 packs of these giving me one extra. One was broken at the hanging slot right out of the packaging so no spare. Today, less than a week after I hung them another one broke for no more reason than the dog stuck his nose between them to look outside. Junk.

Used a 78 in headrail and these vanes to replace a Levolor vertical blind. These slats or vanes are much lighter weight than the textured once we had before. But they do block the light. However, because Hampton Bay vertical vanes only have a quarter inch overlap between the vanes compared to the Levolor which is about half inch. Hampton Bay requires fewer vanes and it is more critical that they are cut straight. The reason why we gave it three stars is that 2 out of 27 slats (3 packages) were not straight. This caused gaps in the coverage. When I called the 800 number they were closed for the Christmas holidays and would not reopen until January 3rd. Looked at the blinds and realized the two on the fixed end had a half inch overlap. So we removed the vanes and switch them with the two on the fixed end. This solve the problem. However should not have to be switching around the vane. To remove the vanes without breaking them or damaging the headrail, lift up on the long tab of clip and firmly holding vane push upward then slide to the side. Since on vertical blinds are west-facing after a couple of Summers some of the slats will dry out and break. At that point we'll have to replace individual slats. We chose the smooth slats because they are easy to clean and the sliding glass door is next to the kitchen and some of the grease from frying gets on the vanes. Another Plus is that the smooth are half the price of the textured. A downside of the Hampton Bay slats is that when you buy them to replace individual vanes, we'll have to find a place in a closet or garage that is tall enough why you can place a screw and hang the remaining slats so that they do not get a curl on them from not being stored flat. But all in all it does the job for slightly less than Levolor. We chose to go with Hampton Bay this time because we paid the extra for the level or but when part started to break in the headrail Levolor wanted us to take down the headrail and ship it to them and wait six to eight weeks to find out whether they would replace it or not. And the way they sounded on the phone sounded like they are not going to replace it anyways so why bother... and why pay the premium price!
